So glad we found this place to stay!It was so pretty and Amelia and Ron were great hosts!Very close to everything we wanted to see.For the first time going to Maine, we can’t wait to go back!It was absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely wonderful place! Ron and Amelia are amazing hosts, they thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Beach gear, bicycles, cookies, s’mores! Great location, very comfortable, loved it. Can’t wait to come back.

Very clean and cozy property. Its perfect for small family. There's cute little garden behind the building and fire place. They provided S'more kit and my kids love it! We had it at the last night of our staying. It was a great way to end our trip.

Perfect Little Base Camp

As empty-nesters, we love finding spots to reconnect with our 20-something kids. Emerson Cottage proved to be ideal. We loved exploring the area beaches, towns and dining, but maybe most enjoyed sitting on the property patio playing cards with the kids. Thank you Ron and Amelia for making us feel so welcome in your charming inn. (PS - Highly recommend packing a copy of "Nature and Selected Essays" by Ralph Waldo himself to read during your stay.)

Wonderful place to stay

This was our second time staying at this property. Ron and Amelia go above and beyond with anything you need. The location is excellent with shopping and restaurants only five minutes by car. We will definitely be returning again next year!!

Charming

We absolutely love this property. Everything about it was warm and homey . Check-in was the simplest we have ever experienced. The owners live one the property and are so nice and fun to chat with. It is in the perfect spot. You can get absolutely everywhere within reasonable driving distance. WARNING: Renting this property in this location will make you want to move to Kennebunk.

Lovely stay close to everything!

This cottage was clean & comfortable with plenty of towels, pillows, and privacy. When I arrived, I walked over to the main home and introduced myself. The hosts were there with fresh cookies! They were attentive, welcoming, & very kind. I would absolutely go back!

Annual stay in the Kennebunks

I have been going to the Kennebunks since I was a kid in the 80s. I have been going regularly with my kids for the last decade. This was our second stay at the Waldo Emerson Inn. We love the Kennebunks and the inn is a perfect place for me and my kids.

Great place!

The property consists of a lovely historic inn and 2 units in the carriage house. We stayed in a unit. Very clean, well set up and cute. The owners were very responsive, helpful and accommodating.

Perfect Cottage

The first floor of the carriage house has been remolded, and is great. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen does not have a stove, but there is a coffee maker and microwave as well as refrigerators. The location is 5 minutes from beach and Kennebunk. Inn owners are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back.

Excellent stay

We absolutely fell in love with this area of Maine and this vacation rental. We stayed in the Carriage House on this property. Amelia was extremely helpful and gave us a tour of the main house along with the history. They even gave us parking passes for the beach, which costs $25.00 per day. We will definitely be returning.
