The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the earliest check out time weâve ever been given, and for over ÂŁ700 a night I would expect not to have to strip the beds ourselves or bring our own towels. Other than this all good - theyâve a cracking BBQ! Thanks!
This property was absolutely beautiful, and closely situated to Keswick's town centre, which was also stunning.
It's just a few minutes's walk away from town, and ten minutes to Derwent Water, which was lovely to walk around with plenty for kids to do.
We were a party of nine adults and three kids, and the house was spacious, beautifully appointed and clearly well kept. I suspect that this might be a hidden gem we return to year after year. Highly, highly recommended.

An excellent property
We were a group of nine on a week's walking holiday. The house is spacious and very well furnished throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location is excellent with the centre of Keswick a gentle three minute stroll away. We were lucky to have good weather all week and the excellent garden furniture in the front of the house was well used. Overall, this is a very good property and we would stay here again.
One possible issue is parking. We had three cars and there is only parking for one car. The parking area is shared with the house next door and they are permanent residents. Although there is also a garage, it is tapered and very small. There was an old washing machine in the garage and we couldn't get the smallest car into the space. Parking in the nearby street is free but in busy periods it can be difficult to get a space.
