The twin bedrooms enjoy fell views (one spacious with views of the well known Coledale Horseshoe range). The bathrooms have been fully refurbished in 2019. Outside, you can enjoy sitting out in the small front garden, which has a sunny aspect and seating area overlooking Coledale Beck (toddlers to be supervised in the garden).

Braithwaite has a village shop, two good pubs, each serving food and real ale. There are many amenities in nearby Keswick.There is an abundance of activities on the doorstep including walking opportunities on Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike, cycling in Whinlatter forest, immediately behind Braithwaite, and sailing on Bassenthwaite Lake.
