Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

Our stay in the lakes
Second time we have stayed in this cottage. We had a great time away here. It is not far from Keswick and there is a lovely lake walk and mountain walk nearby. The cottage has everything you need for a family of 4. Julie, the host, was very quick at responding to queries we had.

Shower excellent, comfy bed. Made a nice change for a holiday rental to have a decent TV. Kitchen not cleaned properly when we arrived (crumbs etc on surfaces). Overall a nice place to stay.

Great 3 nights away!
Just spent a great 3 nights away at this lodge. The lodge itself is very well presented with everything you could need. It is set in a great location with very nice views by the lake and is in an ideal for exploring the area.

Great modern and comforting log cabin
Brilliant host. Plenty of cooking equipment both bedrooms and toilets are lovely and clean. Outdoor washing facilities for you and your hairy pups from the muddy adventures with direct access to the lake although paths may be flooded depending on rainfall. 10 minute drive to Keswick town centre which is full of great shops and bars to have a look round. Couldn’t recommend this enough for someone’s next trip. Thank you!

We wanted a cosy, comfortable, well presented and quiet escape over new year, everything detailed in the advert for this property is correct. Caters well if you’re travelling with dogs. Lovely remote location next to the lake with great views and no one overlooking you. We have rebooked for another visit later this year. Just Perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
