Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo w/ Incredible Mountain & Tree Views from Private Balcony

This recently updated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 7 with a king bed, a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a twin rollaway bed. It features a refreshed kitchen with brand-new high-end stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, private laundry, and a spacious balcony with alpine views. Uniquely located in a quiet area at the top of River Run Village, you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and local festivities, while still able to enjoy a private and peaceful setting. Lone Eagle is the only true ski-in/ski-out complex in Keystone, with direct ski access to the Summit Express Chair Lift allowing you to skip those busy Gondola lines. The complex also offers luxury shared amenities including a pool, hot tub, slope-side fire pit, fitness facilities, sauna, and private ski lockers.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a beautiful gas fireplace, a large flat-screen TV, updated furniture throughout, and a new designer queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a nearby closet. Just off of the living area is the private balcony where you can take in views of the Gore Mountain Range and the sounds of the Snake River.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and has granite countertops, slate floors, and modern stainless steel appliances. All kitchen appliances were replaced in June 2024, including the refrigerator, five-burner gas cooktop with griddle, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and sink. The dining area comfortably seats six around a beautiful wooden table and there are four additional seats at the breakfast bar. There’s a new washer and dryer unit located in the entryway closet, and an initial supply of detergent has been provided for your convenience. The first of two full bathrooms is located just down the hall and has a shower/bathtub combination with tile surround. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels, an initial supply of toiletries, and have updated lighting fixtures.

The primary bedroom features a flat-screen TV and a brand new Tuft & Needle king-sized mattress with open-cell adaptive foam technology that sleeps cooler and is more supportive than outdated materials such as memory foam and latex. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a jetted tub, and a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure. A door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a twin trundle and an additional flat-screen TV.

First, a 4:30pm check-in time is too late. Bedrooms are comfortable, but the common space is just ok. No kitchen table and kind of an awkward living room/tv area. I won’t say the listing catfished me, but it makes the unit shine a little brighter than reality. The building location is 5-star, legit ski-in/ski-out. After that, this unit and the building are somewhat dated and come in overall at a solid 3-star. Feels like the building is an afterthought and does not live up to the quality of the location. The building and unit do not receive much more than the most basic attention needed to keep a legitimate VRBO listing going. Beyond the ski-in/ski out location, vibes were off: elevator broke down; outdoor pool wasn’t adequately heated; coffee machine broke, etc.

This is our second time to stay in this same condo and it’s perfect!!! Has everything you need and excellent communication with the owner !! Easy check in and they text me several times making sure we were having a good time!! Hot tub and sauna were a plus - ski in ski out was perfect for our days on the slopes ! Stay here ! We will stay again!!!

Absolutely one of the best locations to stay at if you are skiing Keystone. It is truly ski in / out and so convenient to grab lunch or warm up for a few minutes. Only a short walk to River Run for dinner (or a crepe!!). The condo itself was fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, and giving us a few laundry detergent packets was a great touch. So good to be able to dry off wet clothes on breaks. The showers were nice and hot. The beds are very firm but that didn’t bother us, and our daughter thought the couch was very comfy to sleep on (she did not use the pull out bed). The kids enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Ski lockers were spacious. Very nice touch was the ability to text the management company with any questions or concerns. They replied quickly and were so easy to work with from check in to check out. When we come back to Keystone we will definitely try to book this condo again!

The elevators are terrible. We waited 45 minutes this morning trying to get on with a luggage cart. It only stopped twice during that time and it was full. We ended up having to carry our luggage down to the parking garage. Luggage for 5 adults. That was awful. Everything else was good. But that elevator is terrible and needs to be updated/upgraded.

Beautiful views and quiet. The rolling stream provides perfect noise to sleep by in the Summer. Very close to Village, yet totally away from the noise and hustle/bustle.

Absolutely perfect facility

The condo was well equipped except only having 4 forks. Everything was stocked well and appliances were fabulous. The owners thought of everything. Bathrobes, ski lockers, everything was fabulous. The only complaint was the check in process. Do not like having to go offsite to wait for keys. We had to Uber from the airport and couldn’t check in then didn’t have a way to get to the office and had to wait on Keyes and there was no bus to get us back. Horrible process but after that it was great.

What a great property! Perfect location and beautiful views! Great beds, bathrooms! Short path to gondola and River Run village. Pool was lovely and hot tub. Kitchen so well appointed-would stay again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Accommodations in Keystone

I would recommend, and have actually already, to anyone looking for a getaway. The space was well furnished and clean! The check in process was easy to understand and I felt like I was well communicated with before, during, and after my stay without feeling like I was being over communicated with! Truly the only things that I would say, and they really aren't anything about the place and more environmental would be that they pool and hot tub had a ton of bugs in them and the prohibited us from taking advantage of them during out stay, as well as there were a lot of construction sounds throughout the day, which occasionally took away from the mountain stream sounds and outdoor ambiance. We have already said that we would be thrilled to stay at Lone Eagle again!

Amazing Rental

The property is fantastic- the location is perfect for dining, shopping and easy access to the gondola and the lift. Property is clean and comfortable. Covered parking is a bonus. I would definitely rent this property again.
