Kick back and relax in this 1,577-square-foot, two-story, condominium with a stylish kitchen, cool tile floors, and tropical décor. Located on the 4th floor, its lanai offers expansive views of the resort’s lush, tropical gardens and partial views of Kamaole Beach Park III.

Find yourself inspired with local fare and channel your inner masterchef! In this large kitchen, there is plenty of space to chop and prepare meals that can be enjoyed on the lanai, in the dining area, or kitchen island. The fully-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to dabble in island-style cuisine including a four-burner stove and oven, microwave, toaster, full-sized refrigerator, dishware, cookware, and a blender. Begin your day with a fresh local pot of coffee and enjoy the views from your lanai that has seating for four guests.

For extra comfort, the condominium includes 3 full bathrooms – 2 on the main floor and 1 in the loft. Two bedrooms are located on the lower level and one has a king and the other a queen bed. Both rooms have plenty of space to unpack in large dressers and one of the rooms has a second television. This unit sleeps up to 8 people as it is equipped with a king, a queen, a bunk bed, and a trundle bed. The upstairs bedroom has a bunk bed and a trundle bed-perfect for kids! In addition to the three bedrooms, there are three bathrooms so everyone can enjoy their private space. In the bathrooms, there is one tub/shower and two showers. Each bathroom comes with towels and sample-size toiletries.

This home-away-from-home offers a wide range of comforts and conveniences including central air conditioning, four ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, a large washer and dryer, and two TVs.

Great location and room!

Very clean and nice place. Room was as advertised and fit our family (4 adults, 4 children 8-13). Close to beaches and stores, pool was nice, kids enjoyed the Turtle Talk on Friday morning. Only downside was ac needed to be off to use lanai and part of our group struggled without ac.

Great Location and property

This was our second vacation at Kamaole Sands and the property didn’t disappoint! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The condo was exactly as described and it was perfect for our family of six. The AC unit in the lanai does get warm, but we would turn it off in the morning and let the breeze blow through the condo so we could enjoy morning coffee and evening wine on the Lanai. The location is ideal for morning walks/jogs and even shopping! Thank you for another wonderful vacation!

Beautiful property

We had a great trip and loved the location of the property. The grounds are beautiful. We walked to the beach and the sunsets there were incredible. The pool is awesome and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The only thing that I didn’t love is the keys. They still have old school metal keys and a fine if you lose them. I think they could be upgraded to make it better and less stressful for families. Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great Property, Great Location, Comfort Lacking

Our family of 7 recently stayed at Kamaole Sands in Kihei, in one of the 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom units, with a loft. The Good: Convenient location, with a short walk to the beach and a view of the ocean from the lanai. Great property with lots of amenities. We swam in the pool most days and used the first come first serve grills a couple times. The grounds are beautiful. and the management was friendly and responsive. There was plenty of space in the unit and a bed for everyone in the family. We appreciated having 3 bathrooms The Bad: There are two air conditioning units in the apartment, but only one was working and it was not able to adequately cool the space. The one functioning unit had to work especially hard and made the lanai super hot and loud. The beds were hard and the pillows lumpy and the sofa was uncomfortable. After sightseeing, we just wanted a place to relax, but the uncomfortable beds and sofa made this difficult. There were other nicer units on the property. We would definitely consider staying at Kamaole Sands again, but not in this particular unit.

Great property & location

Longtime family friends enjoyed our stay here together. Everything was clean & well provided, and great use of space including loft with space for 4 kids to bunk together. Only complaint was the hot and loud A/C vent made using the lanai a little awkward - but helped keep the place cool.

Spacious and well appointed

Great experience. Unit is nice and well kept. Used the grilling area and unit has all the utensils we needed. The fourth twin is actually a pull out under one of the other twins in the loft with the bunk bed (maybe not best for us old guys - lol) - perfect for two couples with four younger people. Would definitely rent this again.

Lacked communication

Property manager didn’t respond about picking up keys till after we arrived on site so we did not know if we had a place to stay. Very stressful since we got in late at night and were told by HomeAway help desk that they had no way of contacting owner or manager so I should look for other accommodations. Luckily we decided to ask the front desk of Kamaole Sands if they had another rental they could give us and the guy happened to ask what unit we booked. He then said he had the keys for that unit and my reservation so we got into the unit. When I first called the front desk after landing, they told us they couldn’t help me because it was booked through VRBO or HomeAway and they don’t handle those rental accounts, we had to call owner or property manager directly. The problem is the phone number that’s listed is the front desk number of Kamaole Sands! The unit itself is ok, the only complaint we had is no air conditioning so if you aren’t used to Hawai’i weather, you’re not going to like staying in this unit.
