The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV and can sleep 2 people. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei.
** Important Update: A construction project is scheduled for April through July 2024 (estimate). The work will consist of removal of the old roof and solar panels, and installation of the new roof and solar panels. Work is allowed Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm. Equipment will be staged throughout the complex as they work on each section of the roof. This work will consist of loud construction days. This studio condo has all the basics covered well. This visit was the second in this complex: great location, lovely pool and hot-tub, a great lanai for two. We'd certainly do it again!

Saved from the rain
We were supposed to camp at Hosmer grove the night before checkin but the Kona storm had other ideas. Luckily we were able to check in a day early. The women I spoke to at the property management company was so helpful in accommodating us.

Perfect location and great size!

Perfect for our needs
The property was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and contained everything we needed, like pots and pans for cooking meals ourselves, beach chairs and some snorkeling equipment. The location was great--close to shopping, restaurants, numerous parks and beaches. Right across the street was a beach where green sea turtles came to rest at night. The property management was also very responsive. The AC happened to stop working, and they sent someone shortly after I talked to them. The unit was replaced and we had working AC again in a few hours.
