The Aloha Mai Suite is a part of the Aloha Aku rental family. Located at the fabulous Maui Sunset Resort Condo complex it offers the traveler looking for the resort condo experience a generous balance of reasonable cost and access to large resort amenities.





Family friendly, this Oceanfront resort condo has been totally remodeled in 2020. It features 1 bedroom with a comfortable California King bed, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a spacious living room with a queen pull-out sofa, as well as a comfortable queen murphy bed for even more sleeping space. It also sports a fully equipped remodeled kitchen and private covered lanai with partial ocean view.





There is a large pool and activities reservation center onsite with an array of lawn games and equipment available for check-out as well as stand-up paddle board rentals. Security is maintained 24 hours and with easy self-check in you can access your suite any time of day or night. There is a courteous and helpful registration office with staff available and convenient free-parking is right outside your door. There is a small workout room, shuffleboards, putting greens on property, and adjacent public tennis courts.





The Maui Sunset is on Waiohuli Beach, an unspoiled, uncrowded area, and one of Maui's best kept secrets! World class golf courses and other great swimming and snorkeling beaches are nearby. Centrally located in mid-Kihei, lots of restaurants, shopping and groceries are within easy walking & biking distance.

Perfect base camp to explore Maui

Great location. Quick destination once you land in Maui. Easy to get around to all the beaches, grocery stores, etc. very good set up inside the condo. We have no complaints about this property.

Turtles sleep on the beach 5 mins from here!

Property was great. Had everything we needed. The pool on property was great and the Sandy beach just minutes away had turtles sleeping on the sand at sunset. Beautiful place. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful family stay

We spent a week here at this unit and loved every minute. The check-in process was easy and communication with the host was very efficient. We would stay again, The location was great for us, however just be warned that this area is known for being quite windy. We had mostly beautiful days but did experience that wind lol.

Our family of five had a great stay at this property during our visit to Maui. The condo had everything we needed to rest, relax, and unwind after busy days on the island. The pool and access to equipment for games like tennis and shuffleboard were an especially big hit with out children (ages 9 - 16).

This was the perfect location and condo for a family vacation. The lawn outside the back door was used by the littles to run around on and get their energy out. Pool area was clean, barbqued every night. Very enjoyable

The property looks kinda run down on the outside however the inside and the inner part of the property is absolutely beautiful. Very kid friendly with lots of activities to do. Clean BBQ grills. And walking distance to the ocean.

Lovely little condo. Worked out well for me and my 2 sisters. We really enjoyed eating on the lanai and walking down to the beach. It's a great location and was an easy drive to Lahaina and other areas we visited.

Awesome condo property and communal hangout spaces--the lawn, grill, pool, and hot tub are great for the kids to socialize and adults alike. Love the ground floor property so kids can run out the door. Boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were in the closet as well as beach towels. The place was well stocked and had some basic kitchen condiments like salt, pepper, oil, coffee, etc.,which was helpful! Owners extremely responsive. would book again. Mahalo!

Great amenities onsite

The pool is warmer than most in Maui (but still cold) which was great. Lots of on-site activities like pickle ball and shuffle board, etc. grills for cooking. The beach is a little rocky so we didn't swim here but saw turtles on our walks along the beach.

View of courtyard is beautiful

Everything went very smooth and was easy but there is not an ocean view. Don't get me wrong the view of the court yard is beautiful and well maintained. The grass looks like carpet but I would not agree it is ocean view as advertised. Also we were bothered by the bugs we found inside the unit I might suggest some form of exterminator.

Great little launching pad

We didn't spend much time in the suite but it was a great place to take off from to head to a variety of beaches and outings. The condo was clean and beds comfortable. The pillows were huge and hard for my taste but mattresses were great. A couple little things were missing in the kitchen ... paring knife and dishcloth ... but otherwise well supplied. All in all, we were pleased and would certainly consider staying again.

Perfect home away from home in paradise!

This resort was very well situated on a lovely beach. There were plenty of amenities including lots of free parking, a lovely pool and patio area with hot tub, an activities manager, tennis courts and free use of various games such as shuffle board, croquet, bocce ball and even a small putting green. The condo itself was exactly as represented, no surprises here! It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable too. It was a great setup for staying with our adult son. Even though it was only one bedroom there was a Murphy bed in the living room that was so easy to set up and put away each day and very comfortable too. It also has 2 full bathrooms so he could have his own bathroom which made it seem like we were getting 2 bedrooms. Perfect! This was probably the best stocked condo we have stayed in over the years as well with a washer dryer , all the kitchen equipment you would want and a closet full of beach toys, chairs, umbrella and cooler!! All in all a great stay. Would highly recommend this unit. It’s not fancy but very functional and clean.
