Shores of Maui - Ocean View- Top Floor Unit--Spacious! AC & WiFi

This top story unit at the Shores of Maui offers a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and is located on the sunniest part of the Island. It’s about 50 yards from the sand, directly across from Cove Park, a fun surfing and paddle boarding beach. It’s a one block walk to Charlie Young Beach (as a reference, it's the north end of Kama'ole Beach I), one of the finest swimming beaches on Maui!

The complex is minutes away from the resorts and shops of Wailea as well as championship golf and world class restaurants. It’s also walking distance from charming local Kihei cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.

The condo is on the second floor of the two story complex, accessible by stairs but not elevator. The unit was remodeled including the kitchen with stainless appliances, hardwood bamboo floors in the living room/dining area and bathrooms, Samsung "Smart" 32” flat screens in each bedroom, all with DVD/BluRay players attached and free Netflix; and a new 65" 4k UHD LG Smart TV in the living room.

In the kitchen--KEURIG 2.0 PLUS SERIES single serve coffee maker. There is also a standard electric coffee maker in the kitchen.

Two or three higher quality BOOGIE BOARDS and FOUR BEACH CHAIRS.

The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated--one has a king bed, the other has two queens. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

There are TWO FULL BATHS in the unit.

The unit includes a spacious lanai (balcony) with spectacular OCEAN VIEWS, wonderful for sunsets and whale-watching. There is a table and chairs to sit and relax on the lanai.

The unit has NEW CENTRAL A/C! There is a separate thermostat and control in each bedroom and the main living area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full size Kenmore refrigerator and includes a dishwasher, NEW MICROWAVE, toaster and rice cooker.

FREE High Speed WIFI Internet is included (private for guests in unit only)

400+ digital channels of FULL HIGH DEFINITION TELEVISION in living room and bedrooms.
Free NETFLIX enabled on TV's in all rooms.

Includes TELEPHONE with unlimited local calls as well as free calling to all of the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong and India.

Full size LG WASHER AND DRYER in the unit.

On-site amenities include a heated spa, swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor gas grills and covered outdoor eating area.


Note that there is a mandated state of Hawaii room tax of 14.41% +3% (for Covid) added to the daily rate--Hawaii added the additional 3% tax to start effective bookings after November 1, 2021. HI is increasing tax on visitors partly because the HI government shut down the island to visitors, thereby reducing income tax revenues to the state, and now they need to bring in more revenue to make up for that loss.

All bookings made 2 weeks or less prior to check-in are eligible for a 10% DISCOUNT from the nightly rental rate.

Note: Every September the swimming pool is closed for 2 days for its annual deep cleaning. If you book during these 2 days, you will receive a 15% discount from the standard rental rate for those days. thx

Condo had just been cleaned when we arrived. Towels and linens all clean and plentiful. Lots of extra beach gear like chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and even snorkel gear. Great location, close walking distance to South Maui Gardens food trucks and many other restaurants. Pool and grill area well maintained and convenient. The place/complex is a bit outdated but comfortable and roomy for our family of 5.

Lovely Stay

Our stay was great at this centrally located, yet quiet condo -- very easy walking distance to the waterfront, cafes, and shops. We enjoyed the view from the living room and balcony of the main beachside road, the mountains in the distance, and the water inlet park leading out to the bay. The living area and bedrooms were spacious and very clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were nicely functional and stocked -- enjoyed the good ground coffee awaiting on the shelf. Glad to have had the iron and board to get us ready for attending a wedding at Sugar Beach (very easy distance to that popular event venue). Would stay again.

You will be very happy with this place!

My family loves to travel and since we have three children I always want to find the best deal with the most possible amnesties. This place checked all those boxes! Washer and dryer in the unit, large bedrooms, enough beds for all of us, central AC, modern appliances, a balcony with an ocean view, responsive owner with easy check in, resort features like beautiful pool, jacuzzi, pickle ball courts, and a location where you can walk to everything. This place was amazing and I want to go back! Thanks Sam.

Great unit!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely unit for our family of five. Close walking access to the beaches and the view can’t be beat. Ocean/beach toys available at the suite which was very convenient. The pool is was a hit for the kids and the whole pool area was very well maintained daily. We will definitely return to the Shores of Maui!

Property is older but very well maintained. Nice location as far as ocean view, access to beaches near by and restaurants/stores. Very busy street between complex and ocean. Nice pool area. We appreciated having an umbrella to use at the beaches. Lanai is probably due for replacement soon. Nicely updated and outfitted 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with full kitchen. It was handy to be able to use the washer and dryer set. Working A/C in bedrooms was wonderful to sleep in at night and escape the heat of the day. Excellent communication with owner. He was extra kind when we had an airline delay by days. Appreciate him letting us know updates on when pest control was coming and when A/C in living room would hopefully be fixed in the future. Hope to return.

Lovely stay in Kihei!

This lovely complex was located right across the street from Cove Beach Park and just a short walk to Charley Young beach. Could look out the window and see the sunset over the ocean every evening! We really enjoyed being able to walk to the food trucks and Foodland as well as loads of restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub in the complex. Bedrooms were really spacious. Unit isn't the most up to date, but had everything we needed and was affordable for such a great location. Thanks for a great stay!
