Our stay was just “okay”. You can tell this hotel needs some serious upgrade. The bathroom had mold in it and visible stains. It was really humid in the room and the air had to stay on constantly. There was a fan in the bathroom leading outside, which you could clearly see. That was disturbing. It also constantly cut off and on. The bathtub was so gross and grimy. The coffee was absolutely disgusting. Like horrible. Overall the beach access and pool was nice. Staff was super nice.

Typical older hotel issues, but right on the ocean

Older hotel that could use some remodeling. Our first floor room smelled funny with 2 odors - one rank and one perfumy to cover it up. Location right on the beach was excellent!

No cold water. Bugs in the room. Balcony door-1/2 to 3/4 inch from the door to the bottom where you could see outside. AC wasn’t working properly. Unkind employees.

Pros: great location with good restaurants nearby, direct access to beach (shower head at the entrance which is nice), convenient parking, comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice small pool Big con 1: room air conditioner needs to be updated. It doesn't work well. You feel it directly after passing through nice lobby. It's also very noisy. Sounds like airplane noise. Con 2: room door is very hard to open and close because it's old. I understand that this is not supposed to be at the hampton inn level, but still some renovations seem urgent. Extra info: breakfast is just okay somewhere between holiday inn quality and red roof inn. I would be happy to stay again if the air conditioning is improved.

Comfort Inn is truly comforting

Great stay and even greater people. Hotels.com “booked” me a pet friendly room and when I got there to check in, there were none available. Luckily they were accommodating and let us have a regular room with our dogs still. Already talking about planning a trip back next year

Issue with shower/ tub

We had a great visit. Our only complaints were no fan in the bathroom and the shower spicket spewed out water while the shower was on, diminishing the pressure when taking a shower, as the bathtub filled up with water.

Once a good hotel, now bad

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was good, but has gone downhill since. Our room door was falling off the hinges, we had to bump it open and slam it shut every time we left or entered the room. The shower rod was drooping so the shower curtain kept pulling to the middle. We found a sock under the bathroom sink, so clearly the room hadn’t been cleaned that well. The bed was so uncomfortable my back hurt the entire trip. The breakfast was okay, very limited options though. The only redeeming part of our stay was the service. We did not want room service during our stay, so the front desk gave us extra towels and washcloths. We also wanted to leave early (because the room was awful), and they let us change the reservation without penalty. Unfortunately, that won’t be enough to make us stay here again for future trips.
