Booked to second floor under construction. Debris all over landing. Construction crew hanging around my door. Had her move me downstairs. Room smelled strongly of smoke. Lights flickered or did not come on at all. Microwave did not work. AC quit half way thru the night, Bathroom tub was filthy. Black mold In grout and on shower ceiling. Shower fitting broken spraying water all over the bathroom. Toilet smelled like a sewer. VERY unlike LaQuinta. Disappointing at the least. I could have stayed at an old Rodeway for half the price and knew what I was getting.

The beds were small and very uncomfortable. The free breakfast was not available and there were trees branches all over the parking area from a tree being cut down. We ended up only staying one night instead of two.

Front desk acted as though I was putting them out of their way to check me in. When I got to the room, there were pubic hairs left next to the wash cloths and soap bar in the bathtub. There was a smell in the room also, so I immediately went back to the desk and told them I couldn’t stay. Thankfully, she just canceled my stay without argument.

Easy to get there. Outside building looks nice, but inside the room is dirty! The fridge is very loud.

Thank you for staying with us here at the La Quinta Inn in Temple, TX. I am glad too see that you did like the exterior of the building. But I am very disappointed that the most important thing was not taken care of. I will be addressing this to the housekeeping team. Every room should be cleaned properly and inspected by a supervisor to ensure cleanliness for our guest. Again. thank you for staying with us and your feedback is much appreciated. GEM Sergio R
