Disappointing
The Old Vicarage is a magnificent property. Unfortunately there were several significant problems with my stay. I discovered that the only heating available was electric convection heaters. I had to find one for my room which was cold. There was no hot water apart from from the electric shower and kettle! There was a smell of dampness in the building. The wifi was not working. I did not stay for the second booked night and went elsewhere. I am not surprised most of the rooms were unoccupied

Neglected property in need of some TLC.
Beautiful building but room hadn't been hoovered, dusty, shower not cleaned. Confusion over room allocation and instructions for access were very late coming. Such a shame as a beautiful house that if done properly could be luxurious.

Lacked that `personal` touch. Lack of breakfast provision both `in house` or even in the close vicinity...!!

A Nightmare
this was the worst place I have stopped in from having to make your own bed, the drawers being broken and in bits, the toilet having been used and not flushed or cleaned, bits on the carpets and old cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and walls. The other guests also had a party late into the night and could be heard lovemaking as well, they also left the house unsecure with no thoughts for anyone else. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay there.

Beautiful place!
We were lucky enough to be the only guests staying for the 2 nights we were there. A lovely big old house in a friendly small village.
