1000 islands Getaway

If you are looking for a family vacation or just a quick weekend getaway, the 1000 Islands is your perfect home away from home. Whether you plan to enjoy ice fishing, hiking trails, summer golf trip or boutique shopping. A stay at the 1000 Islands makes the perfect escape from the hectic city life.

Located on Howe Island Ferry Road, our cottage is a 10 minute drive to downtown Kingston, and right next door to the ferry dock that takes you to Howe Island.

There are several boat launches in the area. There is one in Grass Creek Park which is 1.8 KM from the cottage. Grass Creek Park has a beach as well, so you can swim or go kayaking etc.

What makes our property unique is the green space inside. We have a solarium which is converted into a greenhouse. It is a more natural section of the house. There's lots of beautiful plants to see. It instantly puts you in a magical mood.

There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room to keep you cozy in winters and summer nights.
