Northwest Sutherland is one of the most beautiful landscapes, stunning sandy beaches lie along the coast. Visit Sango bay, Smoo Cave, and Europe’s most northerly zip line in Durness which is 16 miles away. Sandwood bay is said to be the most magnificent beach in the UK, this remote bay has no road access but can be reached by a 4-mile trail. Ridgway Adventure offers fantastic sea and loch water sports, or sit back and enjoy a spot of loch, river, and sea fishing, loch fly fishing permits can be obtained. There is extensive opportunity for hiking including mountains Ben Stack, Arkle & Foinaven within easy reach.
Enter this lovely stylish cottage into a hall and through to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy a great movie together on the Smart TV, and on those cooler evenings enjoy cosy nights in front of the lovely wood burner. There is a spacious open plan area where you can enjoy the lovely sea loch & mountain views, an ideal place to enjoy a relaxed rest from long walks on the beach, mountain hikes or a trip to Handa Island bird sanctuary. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. On a sunny day open the door in the kitchen which leads out to the patio area. There is also a handy utility room with a washing machine & dryer. The stairs from the lounge lead up to a light and bright double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. Venturing outside is the spacious enclosed garden with a seating area to the right, ideal for al fresco dining. The property is situated on a working croft but there is access to Loch Inchard through the chicken run & the lower field (dogs on lead).
