The Space:

Welcome to Kitchen's Salt House, the OBX escape with a backyard beach overlooking a canal where you can relax around a fire in the evenings or work on your tan during the day. The Salt House is packed with amenities to make your stay perfect. The house is pet-friendly for one dog, with exceptions made on a case by case basis. Inside, there is a beautiful kitchen that is fully stocked with everything the chef of your family could need to whip up delicious meals. Enjoy them together at the dining table, in the screened porch, or down by the water! The living room offers a comfortable space to unwind at the end of the day, and if you must check in with work during your trip, there is a spacious desk that is perfect for you to do so.



The 5 bedrooms are set up for ultimate comfort during your stay. There are 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bedroom with a king bed and a daybed/trundle, and bunk beds available in the basement. This setup ensures a space for everyone in your group, from couples to kiddos! 3 full bathrooms are conveniently located attached to the king bedrooms and on the main level.



Outside, the beach is a short 5 minute drive away and parking passes are provided to guests! But don't miss out on the property's private backyard beach overlooking the canal. Relax around the fire pit in this unique oasis. An outdoor shower is available to help keep the home comfortably sand-free during your stay. There is also beach gear and kayaks that you are welcome to use to explore further on the water!

Guest Access:

Detailed check-in instructions and a unique access code will be provided prior to arrival.



**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**



Getting Around:

The exact property address and home details will be sent to you with the check in instructions so you can easily plan your travels.



Other Things to Note:

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.



The following violations may be subject to fines of up to $300: unregistered pets, failure to pick up after pets, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.



The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.



High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
