Beautiful waterterfront view in Building 1, Room 212. Excellent cleaning service. Restaurant options limited and just OK. Expensive menu's. Very convenient parking. Limited walking areas on property. Room was clean but uninspiring. Pool and beach area OK but somewhat limited. Staff was great

Room was fantastic and the location being beachfront and close to a lot of things. It was also nice to get daily housekeepinh. I marked 4 stars instead of 5 because we didn't get good directions finding our unit from the lobby, especially that it was late in the evening; the coffee provided and single coffee maker is also horrible. But, overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others, just be clear with where your unit is, or better yet ask for assistance and expect to get coffee somewhere or being your own.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Kauai waterfront hotel, we upgraded to ocean-front rooms and were very happy we did. Staff all very friendly, easy parking on site, and excellent pools and view of ocean from pool. Would love to come back.

We had to perfect view for the sunset from our lanai and the perfect view for the sunrise from walking outside and looking east. The grounds crew is terrific, everything was immaculate and all the staff from servers, housekeeping, fun arts and crafts were top notch. Can't wait to come back! Maholo

Excellent location, perfect views, great swimming pools and poolside service. The mahi mahi tacos at Lavas were fabulous. Housekeeping staff are excellent and attentive. This property is aging well, not as fancy as the Grand Hyatt, so it’s more affordable and less pretentious.

Front desk was great. Asked for higher floor, got bottom/2nd floor. Two Luau's during our stay, right below our room. ocean view was good. Dining options were limited. Either high end, or pool side. VERY expensive to eat in Kauai now. $22 for pancakes. etc. Check island school schedule before booking, they were out of school during our time there and beach and pool area was swamped with kids. This is our last trip to Hawaii, way too expensive now. Aloha

I stayed in a king ocean front room and it was beautiful, there should be more info on the area, where to snorkel, see the turtles basking etc . The room was connecting and while I was up early, if I was trying to sleep in it would have been very annoying. The concierge service was excellent and they would immediately text back.

The property was really nice, and I would stay there again. The setting is beautiful, and the Lava restaurant is very good. The chef was walking around asking people how their food was, which is a high-end restaurant thing to do. I have a few complaints. Like a lot of these resorts that nickel and dime you. A $40 resort fee? Why not just put that into the price of the room? The concierge tried to get me to go to presentation on time sharing, which, you know, is kind of crass. Everything at the pool costs money except the towel. The pool itself is nice, but the area is kind of small, and the beach is also kind of small. That's just the geography of the place, so it is what it is. And the internet was crappy. It didn't work reliably. Still the overall area is nice, and I spent most of the time away from the hotel doing the things that Kauai has to offer.

I was expecting a bit more from our room, like a nicer/newer tub and shower but the view made up for it. I was disappointed that there was no screen door on the slider out to the balcony. It would have been nice to leave it open during the night to hear the waves and let the breeze come in. The front desk person that checked us in was pretty flat but didnt do anything wrong per say. Overall I might go back, but would look for other options too.

Tropical Paradise

This place is perfect. Right on the beach, lots of amenities, beautiful sunsets on the lawn…stargazing at night and many more memorable perks. The bed was comfy, pillows were perfect, water pressure strong, and a beautiful pool area. I highly recommend this tropical paradise. ((The burritos from Da Crack were great, as was the Thai Food from the food trucks nearby))
