Apartment Alba
You need a car if you stay here, I was told the bus stop and supermarket were in walking distance - yes they were but along a busy main road with no pathway, luckily the owners were very kind when they met us on the Saturday and took us to the supermarket so we were able to stock up on some items.
The apartment is nice and spacious and it was great having 2 bedrooms with one bathroom downstairs and 1 shower room upstairs along with the kitchen and lounge.
There are stunning views from the small balcony at the back of the apartment and you can see Dubrovnik old town in the distance which is nice, you also get to see stunning sunsets every evening from this balcony. There is a very large terrace at the front of the apartment but the view is of unfinished apartments so we didn't use that.
We didn't use the pool so can't comment on that but it did look nice and clean.
Its just a 10 minute walk to the beach and probably another 10/15 minute walk to the main area of Cavtat. Walking down was OK again no pathways but its a quiet road used by the locals so not a problem walking down - however coming back there is a very steep hill - we got a taxi back from the harbour at night which was 10 euros.
Overall we had a nice holiday and enjoyed our stay here. Cavtat is beautiful, lots of lovely reasonable priced bars and restaurants, easy to get the water taxi to Dubrovnik, we walked to the bus station and got a bus to Kupari - I think we will be returning to Cavtat next year!
