Sun cabin. Fantastic location! Cabin for rent in Skrim!

Cabin in a fantastic location just 90 minutes from Oslo and 60 minutes from Larvik and Sandefjord/Torp. Road access right to the door, free parking, electric car charger, fast Wi-Fi. The cabin features a dishwasher, toilet, and shower. It has been renovated with a nice kitchen and comfortable furniture. The dining room sofa and the large sofa in the living room ensure everyone sits comfortably!

Sleeps 7 + a baby bed. Three 150x200 cm beds, one of which has a 90x200 cm bunk bed. There are comforters and pillows for 7 people and 1 baby in the cabin. We also have a high chair.

Outside, there are plenty of activities, including swimming, a zipline, a basketball hoop, and sit-on-top kayaks. In the winter, you can borrow sleds for free. There are groomed ski trails in the area. The cabin gets plenty of sun, so the patio is used a lot.

The cabin is located in a cozy cabin community with plenty of space between the cabins. Here you’ll find privacy, peace, and quiet. This is a real gem! One guest who rented the cabin wrote: “The peace and quiet you find here can’t be measured in money!”

The cabin is just a 90-minute drive from Oslo and about a 1-hour drive from the cities of Drammen, Larvik, Sandefjord, Horten, Tønsberg, and Skien. Distance to airports: Torp Sandefjord Airport—1 hour; Oslo Gardermoen Airport—2 hours. There are wonderful hiking opportunities from the cabin all year round.

The cabin is a fantastic starting point for wonderful experiences. This is where great memories are made! At the cabin, we spend quality time together and enjoy each other’s company. Choosing not to have a TV helps foster a sense of peace and togetherness. We have a deck of cards and board games available. We also have a Bluetooth speaker that you can use for Spotify, for example.

Extra cost or bring your own: Bedding/towels 150 NOK per person for the entire stay. Firewood: 175 NOK per day. We accept PayPal, bank transfer, and Vipps.

Skrim offers wonderful nature experiences with idyllic swimming spots, great fishing opportunities, and plenty of berries and mushrooms to find. The Norwegian Tourist Association has marked trails, so it’s easy to find your way. The terrain is family-friendly, and if you’re looking for a summit hike, we recommend a trip to Styggemann, where the views are fantastic! Skrim also has protected limestone caves. Sandågråtta is an exciting place to explore.

In winter, Skrim is known for its beautiful and family-friendly ski trails. There are groomed ski trails just 50 metres from the cabin. Here, you can strap on your skis right by the cabin wall. If you enjoy slalom, telemark, or snowboarding, it’s just a half-hour drive to Kongsberg Ski Centre, which has a chairlift and 10 km of floodlit trails. In the winter, the pond below the cabin is sometimes plowed, making it a great place to go ice skating. It’s also fun for the kids to go sledding from the cabin. (There are sleds and toboggans at the cabin.)

The mining town of Kongsberg is just a 25-minute drive from the cabin. There, you can visit the silver mines, go bowling, rent go-karts, dine at a restaurant, visit GruveSpa, and enjoy yourself in this beautiful town.

A half-hour drive from the cabin, you’ll find the Høyt og lavt climbing park. It’s Scandinavia’s largest climbing park, featuring 16 climbing routes, 34 ziplines, and a special area for the youngest children called “Nett & Sprett.” From the cabin, it’s a 75-minute drive to Bø Sommerland, Norway’s only outdoor water adventure park. It’s about a 40-minute drive to the beautiful and powerful Trollfoss waterfall. If you rent the cabin for several days, it’s a great starting point for wonderful day trips.
