Hotel was a great choice for Ao Ning. It is easily walkable to the beach and direct access to the Main Street. The infinity pool has the most spectacular view. The breakfast was good. Staff amazing. I would recommend the premium rooms for an unforgettable experience

Overall, our stay at Avani was decent, but the cleanliness could use some improvement—especially the couch, which was noticeably dirty. Aside from that, the hotel is huge, featuring a nice rooftop and pool. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s very walkable to the beach and money exchange services. No major complaints—I would stay again, though next time, I’d opt for a mountain-view room.

We stayed at Avani Resort from February 9th to 13th, 2025, and had a lovely experience. The resort is beautifully maintained with stunning beach views. It is conveniently located on a lively street with plenty to do, including shops and a water taxi station within walking distance. The staff at the pool area and spa were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience. A word of caution regarding the WiFi: it asks for your email to connect, and after I connected, my email account was blocked, with multiple unauthorized attempts to access it. Thankfully, I had security measures in place, but I had to disconnect from the WiFi. I suggest using a SIM card for internet access instead. The buffet was good, though breakfast could use a little improvement. One small suggestion: it would be nice if there was a designated area for smokers at the rooftop. We don’t smoke, and I personally get migraines from cigarette or cannabis smoke, which is quite common in Krabi. A separate smoking area would make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Avani Resort and would happily recommend it to others.

Iencountered numerous ants in my room, including dead ones from previous pest control efforts that hadn't been cleaned up before my arrival. Additionally, I had to wait two hours to check into my room. This was extremely disappointing, especially after spending a significant amount on the Pool Villa. However, the staff were very helpful and kind, doing their best to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, there appears to be an ongoing ant infestation.

I’m sure it used to be nice

The pictures were deceiving. First, it was not very accessible due to having to take multiple elevators and in some places only stairs to the rooms (with very steep wheelchair ramps). Inside the room the linens and sofa were stained. The tub on our balcony was dirty. The shower water sometimes didn’t come out unless we finagled with it. We also returned back from a day out to find our room hadn’t been serviced by 5 pm. The roof pool didn’t have towels one day, and service there took forever. The food was mediocre and overpriced - they didn’t even have mango or pineapple at the breakfast buffet. Overall, it was absolutely overpriced compared to other lovely hotels we stayed in around Thailand. Disappointed.
