We were able to rent mopeds on site, took about 15 minutes for them to arrive and they were very affordable. The had free tea and coffee available all the time, and other drinks available for purchase. There is a restaurant attached, which is convenient, however due to our plans we never ate there. They do provide a breakfast that you can purchase during your reservation or on site, however it does not start until 0800, and we had to leave earlier than that so we walked a couple blocks for some food. Our room was really unique. It was 2 bedrooms, each with a queen (or maybe double?) bed and was able to be closed off from one another with a door and a window. The bathroom was off the end of one of the rooms.

This is an average at best hotel. Photos of exterior show mostly the nicely lit steak house next door and not the hotel. Downstairs rooms have little or no natural light or ventilation. A/c works at full speed tegardless of setting so sweat or get a sweater. Rooms are very noisy and corridors transmit all sounds. Nowhere to sit and enjoy sunshine here but you can go to covered smokers area. Tough if you dont smoke.

I’m not really sure where all the positive reviews for the Sasi House come from. Did we stay at the same hotel? Staff was definitely wonderful. Friendly, kind, greeted us with fresh fruit at check in.... everything you come to expect of Thailand’s legendary hospitality. Location was fine. Fairly central in Krabi town with lots of food options plus the riverfront. The room however was simply disgusting. The paint was peeling off the concrete walls. There was no window except a covered up window to the hall. The noise from above was near constant (thank god we had earplugs!) Worst of all was the smell of the bathroom. It LOOKED clean enough but it smelled like a public toilet. You could smell the urine and waste in the plumbing. We kept the door closed at all time so it didn’t stink up the room worse. At least the air conditioner worked.

We stayed one night for convenience of getting to our flight the next day. Staff were amazing and helpful, rooms were small but delightful. It was exactly what we needed and for the price of the room it was serious value for money.

Very clean place. Pleasant staffs and excellent service Walk distance from markets and restaurants. Tour companies from Aonang gives free ride. Island tours are great Unfortunately we didn't try the restaurant In the property. I recommend this place.

Ok stay nice staff would probably not repeat

Started a little bumpy. Couldn’t find the hotel. Need better landmark such as the crab sculpture on the river front! The people at the hotel are nice but the hotel itself kinda odd! Tv only in Thai If you watch tv you have to unplug frig! No closet and no hangers! The area of Krabi town is just plain ugly so really why stay here? The staff is very polite.

A gorgeous quirky place.

We only stayed one night en route to the ferry to Ko Yao Yai but the staff (Lili) were wonderful and really helpful with information prior to our arrival. The garden is gorgeous and there are some lovely vases and decorations in the house. We were greeted with a plate of fresh fruit and a drink, very much appreciated after a long journey. We only had breakfast which was good but the cost of the Chang was incredible for a hotel (70 baht) for a large one. On the walls are quirky drawing and quotations, which makes the place very friendly and personal. A lot of thought has gone into making the house comfortable and friendly, On the plus side the house is set off the main road so it’s really quiet. Definitely recommend staying there for the price. Ask for a room with a window,

What a beautiful little spot to stop for a night before heading off to Koh Lanta. A few mosquitoes but overall good and very walkable to boardwalk where there are many beautiful art sculptures. Walkable to night market and lots of Restaurants. The staff are lovely and helpful as they booked us on a ferry including transfers at both ends from Sasi to our hotel in Koh Lanta for 350 Baht each. Enjoyed a lovely time in Krabi Town. Would recommend.

Clean, very helpful staff

Very well kept property. Room was clean with all amenities. Staff could not have been more eager to please. They left some fresh fruit in the room to welcome me. Would definitely stay here again. I was only here one night in transit, so I don't know about the location.

Do you want Krabi or beach in ao nang choose

Before you travel make up mind if you want Krabi or ao nang beach. Plane takes you to Krabi but most people want to end up at ao nang beach . I did not do my due diligence and booked here. In hindsight should have booked in ao nang taxis in Krabi as in Phuket are not free enterprise and can be expensive so this will eat into any budget you have Pros- nice and quaint Quiet clean and excellent service Have a nice steak house Free coffee bananas biscuits tea Cheap beers same price as 7-11 nearby is the fascinating archeological site and floating village Beautiful breakfast at $5.00A Cons Far from Ao Nang beach which is where all the action is it’s about 12 km to get there is $2.5Aus dollars and same back . This is the cheapest ( I only do cheap transport) because there is a sort of strong arm system in the transport industry there if you take a a taxi it will cost you about A$25.00 one way. Do some research into transport in thailand and you will get a handle on the problem if public bus available use it if not book hotel within walking distance

Nice and clean hotel

I loved this little hotel, really nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get what you see on the pictures (not like many other hotels in Thailand). We got some welcome fruits and water at our arrivals and complimentary jasmine tea. The room had a quiet AC. The location was fine as well. Good value for this money.

The staff very friendly and helpful, fresh served Thai or western breakfast served very good, rooms well lite and very clean,laundry service, it is one block off main boardwalk yet still quiet, short walk to the night market and fruit market and you can hire a long boat very reasonably price and go on private tours

Good for overnight, but not a destination hotel.

Good place to stay if needing a short stay base in Krabi but not a very lively place. Staff were very helpful and welcoming but during our 2 night stay we only saw one other guest. There is free tea and coffee and sometimes also bananas, but no common area to meet other travelers, only a corridor. Beds are super comfortable but only 2 fold out chairs provided for the 4 of us occupying the room. Convenient location for tours and transport.
