Family home between Gmund in Karnten and Katschberg

This house is well suited to a group that wants to get away to a beautiful part of Austria and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle in Summer and Winter. The house is professionally cleaned after each visit and it is located well away from other properties. It is on the main road so you will not get snowed in!

This is a house that is convenient to the skiing in Katschberg in the winter and close to the medieval town of Gmund in Karnten which is famous for its artists and connections to the Porsche family.

It is fully equipped for families with 2 double bedrooms (one is small) and a large room with 4 single beds. On the first floor there is a separate dining room, good sized kitchen and pantry; there is a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate WC.

On the ground floor there is a large sitting room with a double sofa bed, TV and log burning stove, entrance and 3 store rooms.

Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a large sun terrace. The house is on the main road and the ski bus to stops 150 metres from the house.

There is so much to do in Carinthia; on the one ski pass you can ski 30 resorts in the Winter. Alternatively you can get the Lungo pass and ski 5 areas including Obertauern. Both passes allow you to ski Katschberg Aineck.

In the Summer the Karnten Card allows you access to a range of activities which includes gorge walks, high mountain drives, ski lifts, museums, open air pools, lake ferries and children's activities.
