Quiet location

Nice hotel in quiet location, only downside was I booked double room and got a single. But this was still a nice well kept clean room.

Disappointed

Arrive at 8.15 in the evening requiring an evening meal only to be advised that the cook had gone home. The hotel claims in their own literature that their kitch closes at 10 P.M.We were advised to tavel another 7KM to ta center (which we later find out was a sister hotel where the kitchen closed at 10 P.M and we could get food.We did not do this as we could evisage that it would be another hour before we relaistically got anything to eat.ended up eating doner kebab, chips and salad that we found open in the very quite town also about 7Km away Kurkow em See.Returned to hotel about 9.45 hotel all shut up for the night and not a soul around and reception closed-not sure what one would do in an emergency,Nowhere within hotel to get a drink alcholic or not so drank bottled water in room that we got charged for next morning upon check out. Breakfast good,wide choice of food in tastefully decorated dining room conservatory overlooking pond. Rooms very clean.? very plesant exterior with courtyard and landscaped gardens. I believe that there were only a handful of guests staying,but the service offered should not be dependent upon how many guests there are in the hotel. Having driven for thee hours from Hamburg to reach this hotel,we were hungry and thirsty I was not at all impressed with the service received, which is a pity because it spoilt what could have been a brief yet pleasant stay.I wonder what our German cousins would have thought if they had received the same service!

Sehr schön gelegen. Wir hatten ein sehr hübsches, großes Zimmer. Bequeme Betten, Regendusche, Kühlschrank, Minibar (normale Preise) und eine Nespresso-Mascine. Essen im Restaurant sehr gut, Frühstück wunderbar.

Leider hatten wir bei unserem zweiten Besuch erneut ein Zimmer direkt über der Kühleinheit des Kühlraumes. Das heißt, an erholsamen Schlaf war bei geöffnetem Fenster nicht zu denken, weil die Außeneinheit alle paar Minuten anspringt… Schade, da das Hotel sonst in herrlicher Natur und Ruhe gelegen ist. Alles andere war wieder gut. Allerdings wissen wir nicht, ob wir ein drittes Mal das Risiko des Zimmers eingehen würden…
