Guests must arrange roundtrip transfers (surcharge) from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male to the property, which is approximately 25-minutes via seaplane or 90-minutes via speedboat. To guarantee transfers, guests must contact the property with their flight details and preferred mode of transfer at least 72 hours before their expected arrival. Otherwise, the property will arrange seaplane transfers by default. Please note that only 1 roundtrip mode of transfer can be booked.
Seaplane Option: Daily seaplane transfer service (surcharge) from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male is scheduled between 6 AM and 3:30 PM. Guests arriving after hours are advised to book a local hotel room in Male before joining the first available transfers for the next day. Luggage in excess of 44 pounds (20 kilograms) person may incur a fee, payable to the seaplane company during flight check-in. Guests must pay the seaplane fee at check-in. There is no transfer fee for infants age 2 and younger who are sitting on the lap of the parent (no seat to be provided and no baggage allowance entitlement).
Speedboat Option: Speedboat transfers (surcharge) to and from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Male are available 3 times per day. Guests may have to wait at the airport upon arrival for the next available transfer. When arriving at the airport, guests should proceed to counter number 5 for speedboat services. Speedboat departures from Male to the property take place as follows:10:30 AM for flights that arrive 6-10 AM; 2 PM for flights that arrive 10 AM-1:30 PM; and 4:30 PM for flights that arrive 1:30-3:30 PM. Guests arriving in Male after 4 PM are advised to book a local hotel room in Male, and transfer will be arranged for the next day. Speedboat departures from the property to the airport take place as follows: 6 AM for flights departing 9 AM to noon; 9 AM for flights departing 12:30-5:30 PM; 2:30 PM for flights departing after 5:30 PM.

Me and my wife came on our honeymoon to Kurumathi, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. I would like to give a special mention to Thorgi, who serviced our room and 2 kitchen staff at Farivalhu restaurant (unfortunately i didn't make a note of their names). The resort's beautiful and exceeded our expectations, especially with providing snorkelling equipment as part of the all inclusive package. I would highly recommend the Thundi Water Villa with pool as the features that the room provided and it's price are unmatched by other resorts

Always a Pleasure at Kuramathi! Kuramathi never disappoints. It's a truly beautiful island, featuring a stunning sandbank and an impressive house reef perfect for snorkeling. The resort was nice, but honestly, we expected more. We stayed at Over the Ocean water villa, from where the view was amazing. But … the porch was not maintained well and part of the wood/thorn entered in my foot for which I needed to go to the hospital (to be fair they didn't make me pay the bill). Also, even though the view is amazing, The water near the water villas is dirty and full of soap, so you can't really enjoy it or enter directly (if not at 6 am). There was a big reef for snorkelling but the paths were not maintained well and almost every time you needed to step on a coral to arrive in the deep. Another thing that we really didn't like is that in our all-inclusive package, it was written that everything in the minibar is included, but when we arrived there only soft drinks were free in the minibar and there is a crazy system that they didn't replenish automatically the minimar but you have to order the drinks every time. Snacks are also not included in the all-inclusive package. On the other hand, the island is big and you have a lot to do even if it's raining. The stuff is amazing, the food was good and the excursions are amazing and must-see!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuramathi. The resort offers something for everyone ranging from kids to matured adults to relax and enjoy. The villas are beautiful and nice touch with the attention to detail. The sand bank on the property was indulgent and truly magical.

My wife and I had a great time at Kuramathi, we all had an unforgettable experience esp given it was to one of our first resorts. There was a lot to do which we didnt do, lol. We had enough time to walk around, go at the beach, go at the pools and have juices and food on the fly. That was enough to keep us occupied during the day and the jacuzzi in the room was enough to keep us occupied during the night after a long day of activities. Definitely would recommend.

The over water villa was amazing in terms of view, condition and size. Other than that the rest of the aspects were quite disappointing! Staff is not friendly and a but ignorant to requests/complaints. Food is not bad below the standard compared to other Maldives resorts. Spa experience was totally a waste of money. We went for our honeymoon and resort failed to create or provide anything special for us as honeymooners.

The floating breakfast was not nice.Even the Furavalhi buffet restaurant the breakfast is better than that.The choice of food for floating breakfast also very less.Hope will improve with more Asian Food options to let customer to choose.
