As of March 18, 2026, we were notified by the HOA that they are replacing of all sliders and windows in the Indoor Pool area of the Rec Center at Ocean Dunes. This is a two-phase project with the first phase starting Monday March 23 to Friday March 27. The second, larger phase will start on April 14 and end April 24.
During these two phases, the Indoor pool area will be closed to all owners and guests. (The gym and change rooms/saunas will be accessible during that time, with the exception of any period of time when the electricians will be working in the men's room where the hot tub equipment is housed).

Enjoy WiFi connection throughout the condo, The primary bedroom has a Queen size bed with a large flat screen TV, a closet, two luggage racks for unpacking and an en suite full bath with walk in shower. The second bedroom has two Twin beds along with a large flat screen TV, a closet also with two luggage racks. The second bath is located in the hallway and also includes a tub and shower.
Watching the dolphins from the large deck with your family and friends is an adventure in itself! The deck has plenty of seating with captains chairs, bar height tables and a dining table. Plus a relaxing glider to watch the stars above.

Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, tennis courts, a basketball court and cornhole. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers.
Enjoy the quiet of Kure Beach, only a short distance from the Carolina Beach, restaurants, boardwalk and shops. Condo is across the street from the Fort Fisher Recreation Center, down the street from the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher-Southport Ferry!
*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund. All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
