Welcome to a holiday home that is just as suitable during summer and winter. You can enjoy a SPA bath when the wind is blowing and the snow is dizzy or during a bright early summer evening when the birds are chirping. In Kvicksund is this nicely decorated house, about 10 minutes walk from Lake Mälaren and Svinskärsudde. The house was built around 1950, is renovated and maintains good class with all amenities. A wonderful garden of 2000 sqm that offers space for outdoor activities and relaxation. There is a large covered terrace with infrared heating and barbecue for al fresco dining and a sun deck where you also have a SPA bath for cozy evening baths. On 63 sqm you will find a nice and spacious entrance that opens up to a living room with sofa group and fireplace. The kitchen has an open floor plan to a dining area for up to 5 people. There is a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed located adjacent to the living room and a separate bedroom with a double bed of 140 cm. The house has a bathroom with shower and toilet. Down in central Kvicksund there is a barbecue / restaurant that is open in the evenings. On the other side of the bridge there is another restaurant and here is also the railway station with train connections to Stockholm and Västerås. A walk of about 15 minutes and you will reach Sandabadet, with sandy beach, shallow water and bathing jetties, very popular with the locals. On the beach there is also a nice barbecue and a place with campfires and perches. As popular on New Year's Eve as any summer evening. During the winter period, cross-country skis are popular around Kvicksund Golf Course and if the ice settles, it is excellent to go long-distance skating out on the bay. For those interested in hiking, there is the Sörmlandsleden, a 1000 km long hiking trail nearby. For those interested in horses, Strömsholm and Strömsholms Slott are worth a visit. In Eskilstuna, which is the nearest major city, there are a lot of activities to choose from. In summer, Parken Zoo is popular with families with children, Sundbyholms Slott, with a restaurant and coffee service is well worth a visit.
