True 5 Star Host

Property was perfect for our race team. Clean, comfortable, and in a quiet location. Best part of the stay was dealing with the host, David. He is a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a 5 star experience.

The outside picture does not do it justice. The whole house was clean, with clean towels in the bathrooms. Full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, including seasoning, was available for us to use. Extra blankets were available. The hot water was hot and the A/C was cold! It was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

Perfect stay for a quick river trip

Came into town to float the river. The house was only 10mins from a popular floating location. Was easy to grab a couple of Ubers. Good house to stay the night with friends and quite neighborhood. Would stay again if in town for the river.

Great place, close to Austin. Found a gem.

We had no idea what we were getting when we booked it. It’s in a secluded neighborhood about 30 minutes south of Austin. There is a Poco Loco Super Mercado near by. Restaurants and other activities are within 10-15 minutes. Easy to get to and a great place to hang after a day out in Austin. Definitely recommend.

Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed the stay overall! The first night was a rough start since there was a wifi outage in the neighborhood, and service is very spotty in the area. But that was out of the owners control, wifi was back on first thing the second day. Only thing we recommend as a group is some outdoor furniture for the back yard. Super nice place overall !

Brand new home, brand new neighborhood

Wife and I stayed here for a full week, and really enjoyed it. It's a brand new home, and the neighborhood was still being constructed while we were there. The host was very attentive to all our needs. He stayed in direct contact with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. He really tried hard to make our stay perfect... even messaging us to make sure we got in safely. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Great touch!

Responsive host

The host was very responsive very friendly and informative. The house was just like the pictures. The neighborhood was very nice and safe. Parking was tight but the host told us we could park on the road. If you have dogs there are some hole in the front of the fence. The house was clean the mattresses could use some foam pads or something. Over all we enjoyed our stay and the host was very friendly and responsive.

Our stay at Dreamville in Maxwell, TX was nothing short of exceptional. From booking to checkout, David was an amazing host—very communicative, accommodating, & quick to respond. The home is a beautiful new build, very clean, thoughtfully decorated, & located in a quiet subdivision. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Every detail felt intentional & welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for our group of 5 (easily enough for 6). I especially loved the gas stove since that’s what I use at home! Even better, we didn’t have to buy seasonings; they had all the essentials. There were also a few pantry items available, which made settling in even easier. The level of preparation and care truly stood out. There were plenty of extra towels, an abundance of toiletries (honestly, more than most hotels provide), and even wipes in the bathrooms—something you rarely see but absolutely appreciate! What really set this stay apart were the thoughtful extras. We didn’t have to buy all the little things we typically forget or end up needing—that alone made the trip feel effortless. For anything else, Walmart's delivery right to the door made it incredibly convenient. This was honestly the best vacation I’ve had in years. I had zero stress about our accommodations, which made all the difference.Thank you, David, for sharing your beautiful home & for being such a fantastic host. We truly enjoyed every moment & cannot wait to stay here again!
Kitchen includes a Gas stove, place settings for at least 6 people. Cooking pots, pans skillets, and a stove top griddle. Also, spatulas, tongs, serving spoons, & a small cutting board. I did NOT see any measuring cups though (if you need them).
Living room w/leather sectional reclining couch and blanket basket!
Living room TV and back door that goes out to a fenced in yard with 4 rocking chairs, nice!
Master bedroom has a private bathroom and a walk-in closet

The house needs some attention, it was clean enough(kitchen & bathroom) but the laundry room is so full of the owners things that we could barely get to the washer & dryer to use it. The closets are packed with their items or items left behind by guest so you can't hang up anything. The kitchen is missing normal essentials if you plan to cook a meal at the house,no measuring cup, no cookie sheet & you don't have a but one small pot, skillet and a gigantic pot for stew/gumbo.

Dreamville Visit

The property was cute and in a nice neighborhood. Easy access to San Marcos and all its treasures. Owners always available for communication. On the downside, both beds had slats broken which made the mattress sink in the middle. There were not enough towels for the amount of people staying. No hand towels or washcloths. Plenty of toilet paper but no paper towels/napkins. Closets and laundry room were cluttered and unusable. The outdoor grill is so tiny there is no way it would work for more than 1 person. With a little more effort and attention to detail, this little gem could be 5 stars across the board.

Clean but sparse.

Furnishings a little sparse and mismatched. Living room only has one sectional coach. Large vacant area could have used more chairs. Dining room table small with 4 mismatched chairs. Washer was full of dirty linens and towels, which were damp. Dryer had a bed linen in it and dryer lint trap so full door wouldn’t close. TV had fire stick with no instructions on how to use it. May be ok for younger generation but older folks struggle. It was too hot to sit outside but there was no available chairs if we wanted to.
