From the entrance, all the staffs escorted us so nicely, and informed us clearly. The room was clean, and in the second day, when we got back to the hotel after tourism, the condition of the room was carefully managed. Speaking of the location of the hotel, we could‘ve easily visited most of valuable landmarks of Kyoto, including Gion, Kiyomizudera and museums.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Very modern, nice and clean, great location, walkable to many nearby sites, and easy access to the trains. The staff was so kind and helpful and the hourly shuttle to and from Kyoto station was a huge added bonus with the nicest drivers! I loved it here so much that I decided to stay an extra night! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Kyoto and I hope to be able to return one day soon! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The TV is equipped with Netflix and other streaming services and easy to use. The location is superb for exploring Gion and Higashiyama, and not far from a metro station to get to the rest of town. The free shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station is a nice bonus. The one negative is that the gym is quite small, with only a few free weights and a treadmill. If that matters to you, consider a guest membership at a nearby local gym or a different hotel.

Modern, spacious room in great location (15 minute walk from Gion). The service and staff were excellent, and the hotel offers a shuttle to Gion and Kyoto Station every hour which was invaluable.
