Family stay by the beach with beautiful garden- La Brée les bains, Oléron island

An exceptional situation at the end of Oléron island, in the lovely village of La Brée les bains, for this nice sixties villa, very quiet in a wooded park (2.500 m² or 27.000 ft²) and very close (just cross a little street) from an almost deserted beach, the right one for children and fishing at low tide...or surfing at high tide !

You don't need a car here. You can do almost everything on foot and bikes (some are free at the house), to discover the coast, little towns and harbours on the island and in the vicinity. During summer, you can go by boat to the close islands : Ré and Aix and also to Fort Boyard and La Rochelle. You can even come by plane at La Rochelle airport and take a boat to St Denis, a little harbour at 3km from the house.

- Towels can be provided on request at an additional cost of 50 euros per stay
- Optional cleaning: 80 euros (Otherwise do the cleaning yourself).

Calme et nature
Maison très bien placée avec beau jardin et douche extérieure appréciée. Propriétaire discret et très disponible. Axes d'améliorations de la maison : Chaises confortables à la place de bancs dans la salle à manger et ajouter de vrais fauteuils confortables pour le salon.

Un havre de paix en bord de mer
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une maison de vacances chaleureuse et conviviale au milieu d’un très grand jardin arboré et dans un environnement très calme. La maison est très bien équipée et dispose d’une douche extérieure très agréable après la plage ! La maison est bercée par les vagues et les odeurs d’iode, la mer étant située à moins de 20 mètres. Le centre village est à 10 minutes à pied et propose un marché quotidien ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Bernard, le propriétaire. Nous reviendrons !

Familienurlaub mit paradiesischem Garten in toller Lage
Wir haben mit drei Erwachsenen und vier Kindern zwei sehr entspannte Wochen verbracht. Vor allem der riesige Garten, in dem die Kinder (7 bis 11 Jahre) völlig frei spielen konnten, hat uns gefallen. Das Haus versprüht den Charme eines 60iger Jahre- Bungalows. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Auf ein schickes Bad oder W-LAN muss man allerdings verzichten. Der schöne Strand war wirklich nur 50 m entfernt, zahlreiche weitere Strände mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Autofahrer auf der Ile d'Oleron verhalten sich sehr rücksichtsvoll, so dass auch wir auch das Fahren mit jüngeren Kindern auf der Straße völlig unproblematisch fanden, von dem guten Netz an Radwegen mal abgesehen. Bernard ist ein sehr zuvorkommender, großzügiger Gastgeber, wir würden jeder Zeit wieder hier Urlaub machen!

Emplacement au TOP, trés bon séjour !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Bernard. Il habite dans une maison juste à coté qui partage le très grand terrain de la maison principale. C’est un hôte très agréable, disponible et discret. La maison est très charmante et bien décorée dans un style "vintage 70''. Elle est également confortable et très bien équipée. Le jardin est grand, au calme et très agréable. La plage de sable fin est véritablement à 20m du portail, juste en face d'une petite route peu passante. Elle est peu fréquentée et très agréable ! Enfin, le village de La Brée les Bains situé à 10min à pieds est d'un charme authentique. Il y a un marché quotidien en saison et des commerces de proximités de qualités dans le centre-ville (boulangerie, boucherie, supérette, tabac etc....). Super séjour. Nous reviendrons sans doute ! NOUS RECOMMANDONS !

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très jolie maison familiale avec tout le confort (barbecue, poêle à bois, pas vis à vis, grand jardin, terrasse plein sud) . La maison est située face à la plage, de quoi rendre le séjour aussi pratique qu’agréable. Enfin nous avons eu droit à un accueil sympathique et chaleureux du propriétaire qui est resté disponible et prévenant tout au long du séjour. Nous reviendrons !

Très bien placé et avec un très beau jardin très agréable
La plage -même si ce n'est pas la principale plage du village, cette dernière étant à 5 mn de vélo, 10 à pieds - est de l'autre côté de la route peu fréquentée qui borde la maison... Mais la maison (maison de famille de plein pieds, resté dans son style des années 70 ce qui lui donne beaucoup de charme, se suffit presque à elle même car elle est dans un grand jardin très arboré, très agréable

Un séjour magnifique chez Bernard dans cette grande maison où rien ne manque et où nous avons pu passer des moments formidables en famille. A deux pas du village de La Brée, à deux pas de la plage, dans un jardin splendide, tout est parfait ! Avec ce petit truc en plus si important : la confiance, la gentillesse, les choses simples et vraies, le sens de l'accueil, l'amitié, se sentir "en famille", en vacances, c'était top ! Merci pour tout Bernard !

Séjour très agréable à 2 pas de la mer, en famille
maison très agréable, propre et fonctionnelle, au sein d'un beau et grand jardin et vraiment à 2 pas de la mer (et tout près des commerces / marché aussi - qq min en vélo ou à pieds). Nous y étions en hiver en famille avec des jeunes enfants et n'avons pas eu froid. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et espérons y revenir à d'autres périodes. Notre hôte était très sympathique et a tout fait pour s'adapter à nos demandes. Merci bcp à lui!
