Charming Countryside Retreat with Heated Pool and Fireplace, Ideal for Nature Lovers!

Do you like the countryside and fresh air, do you dream of waking up with only the sound of nature? The location of our cottage in the heart of a hazelnut grove makes it a preserved and authentic place where you can relax while enjoying our uncovered heated swimming pool (secured by a roller shutter) from June 15 to September 15 (from 10 [hidden] to 12:30 [hidden] and from 2 [hidden] to 6:30 [hidden] our guests are welcome with the obligatory swimming cap). We have chosen to keep its old-world charm with a few modern touches inside for your comfort. Breakfast on the south-facing terrace facing the lawn or dinner to enjoy the starry sky, everyone according to their desires! Facing the terrace, the living room keeps the cool during the hot summer hours thanks to its stone walls. You can enjoy the lounge near the fireplace which will liven up your evenings in winter. Equipped with an American-style kitchen area and a dining area with table or bar, it accommodates an old corner bed transformed into a daybed which also allows a bed (90/190). A corridor serves a bright bedroom which opens onto the lawn, the bathroom with Italian shower and the separate toilet.

Tres beau gîte, bon accueil avec spécialités du coin ,propriétaire très gentil ,petit bemol les horaires d'ouvertures de la piscine .Pas vraiment adaptées quand vous revenez des visites des chateaux de la loire.Pas annoncé dans l'annonce quand nous louons le gîte.,mais uniquement sur place.Tres belle piscine par contre.

Toujours agréable et reposant !

Notre second séjour ici, et toujours aussi satisfaits. Calme, verdure, piscine, et l'hôte est discrète mais également disponible. certes c'est un peu éloigné des grands châteaux de la Loire, mais il y a beaucoup de patrimoine et d'activités aux alentours. Merci encore !

A lovely, authentic place for 1-3 people

A cosy and characterful Gite in a beautiful, remote location. The host was always very friendly and happy to help (they speak limited English but are handy with Google Translate!) which I appreciated very much. The complimentary biscuits and chilled apple juice were delicious! The bed was comfortable and the shower was easy to use and get up to temperature. The only minus point I would make is that the curtains in the bedroom don't quite close fully and let a lot of light through, so if you stay in the summer then your sleep will be largely limited by the sun's presence (I also felt like I needed to get dressed in a different room...). There is another (single) bed in the living room where the curtains/blinds are much better.
