Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very close to the downtown and right near the Mississippi River and walkway. We also took the shuttle service they offer to the train station.

Not Happy

We stayed on the sixth floor overlooking the Mississippi river. We walked into the room and it smelled like a musty damp basement. The room smelled that way during the entire stay. It was very uncomfortable. The room, including the bathroom, is dark. It’s just not very inviting.

This is a very nice waterfront hotel, clean, comfortable. The bar service was impeccable and we got to watch the Packers game! The food in the dining room is good but had to wait an hour plus to be seated because a 10 top was seated and they couldn't handle a table of two along with that in an otherwise empty restaurant.

We have stayed here several times. Need new mattresses. Not much attention paid to cleaning in corners and under counters I the bathroom and sleeping area. At breakfast had to look out at the river through windows that had not been washed in some time. They were working on remodeling all the bathrooms in rooms so maybe waiting on some of these other items until that work is done
