The staff was very friendly. Our room had a newly remodeled bathroom which was small but very nice. The hotel is right next door to the La Crosse Center so it was so easy to get there and the shopping and restaurants within walking distance was fantastic. We also enjoyed the bar after our events.

Very nice hotel and well situated. Word of caution: they are renovating bathrooms. We asked for a quiet room but got placed next to one of the work sites. We got to listen to loud drilling sounds until 5 pm and they started up the next morning at 8 am. They did offer to move us a room that was one further away after I complained, but we were already settled in. In future if someone asks for a quiet room, it would make sense to not put them next to an active construction site, especially since it was a Monday night and off season. Also if you request a river view room, it’s a $40 upcharge.

Staff were courteous and helpful when you could find them, especially in the bar/restaurant. Also, it wasn’t obvious what the room cleaning schedule was or if they had been in or not. But to be clear the room was clean and comfortable.
