Good location, very noisy with other issues
Floor plan is awkward with a step across the main floor which is a tripping hazard. Only master suite had a closet with 4 hangers, other bedrooms didnât even have closets. Everyone lived out of their suitcases. The sliding doors off of the main floor doesnât lock but uses sticks to keep them closed⊠not very secure. The doors had 1+â gap between them, so we had geckos, cockroaches and crab in the house. Lots of small insects in the master bath attracted the geckos.
The pool cabana was beautiful with a view of the volcano. The landscaping is full of blooming tropical plants; walkways are overgrown with branches that hit you in face.
Each bed was covered with a very thin quilt, most of us preferred to have more quilts. Only 1 bath and hand towel per person, no extras provided. The beach towels stayed wet and never dried even though we hung them to dry inside & outside.
The master bedroom has blackout curtains but the AC unit has a bright light on it that lights up the room. Whatâs the point? Mattresses are very firm and painful to sleep on.
Thereâs a busy gravel road behind the house with cars & vans loudly driving down it constantly. Also construction going on both day and night, it was never quiet. We had to push the remote many times to open the slow main gate while cars speeding down the road nearly hit us almost every time.
Water pressure & hot water for showers was awful. Jacuzzi had algae, debris & a frog.
Location is close to activities & restaurants.
