I'm not sure I received VIP access. We loved the restaurant's delicious menu, the beautiful gardens and the trails. We appreciated the care that was taken to make the trails safe for us. All the employees were helpful and sweet. We highly recommend this hotel. We could have used some drawers to put our clothes in. That's our only concern.

Everything was good for the only thing that the pools have too much chlorine and that the cleaning person placed too much insecticide inside the room and is not good for those who suffer from allergy.

Everything was amazing! We loved our view of the volcano. The staff was great. My friends did the massage spa and absolutely loved it! They could not stop talking about it. The bartender Daner by the pool was always great and friendly evwey time we would go over. Any question we had the staff did great at answering and helping. Would definitely stay there again.

The grounds were beautiful and it was close to town and other amenities. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast included was fantastic. The rooms could use a bit of updating. Lots of cracks/openings around the windows and doors for critters and mosquitoes to get in.

Excellent location, 5 minutes drive from arenal waterfall, beautiful hotel with a beautiful trail path next to a river , hot tubs are warm not hot but I love that, breakfast is ok , nothing fancy but good enough to start your day. WiFi is only good in the común areas but also in the balcony of the rooms . Definitely recommend

Amazing experience from the staff to the wildlife truly is paradise when the sky clears perfect view of volcano ,food was amazing and drinks were fabulous hands down perfect place to stay in la fortuna. Tours were Great! La fortuna waterfall,wildlife at the hanging bridges the hike to the base of the volcano , amazing night tour with a traditional Costa Rican family and food even the wild dogs made every experience of our stay perfect thank you la fortuna and casa Luna for the perfect getaway

Our stay at Casa Luna was absolutely fantastic. The room and grounds were immaculate, the food at breakfast and in the evening was amazing, as were the cocktails by the pool. We’ve never stayed in such an amazing place before. We spotted a sloth and howler monkeys from the trail through the hotel grounds along with a number of amazing birds. Hummingbirds were flying through our garden all day long. The staff were excellent and we must give a special mention to Marlon who was the perfect waiter and made us feel totally special.

Your own slice of jungle

This place was perfect for getaway with friends! We had 4 rooms, and they thoughtfully put us all in one little building so we were together. It’s a little slice of the jungle with sloths and monkeys and tons of birds. Just gorgeous with really nice landscaping. But also with a nice pool, so many hot tubs, a trail, a spa and everything you need for a great time in La Fortuna. The breakfast had something for everyone. The only downside (or upside?) was that the wifi didn’t work in the rooms.

The property and grounds were beautiful and clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We were disappointed in the thermal/hot tubs as only one was warm at all. Two were ice cold. Also, the WiFi was great outside of the room but nearly no connection in the room itself, which obviously is not the point of being in Costa Rica but after our busy days of activity and having a teen with me, we wanted to connect with friends and family, etc…. The included breakfast was awesome and the service was top notch. Prices for lunch-dinner seemed very high so we only ate one dinner there on the property a night after an all day excursion because we didn’t have the energy to go anywhere in La Fortuna. Overall a good stay and a stunning view of the volcano right from our balcony when the clouds broke.
