Relax House is an ideal place to rest and enjoy surrounded by nature and spectacular views.
We have a pool with children's play area, BBQ ranch, terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, mini bar and gardens visited by tropical birds and views of the spectacular Arenal Volcano, all surrounded by peace and tranquility in harmony with nature.
Our facilities are located in a private condominium, with a security guard and restricted access with a remote opening gate. Also we have private spot inside the property for parking 1-2 cars.

Contamos con Piscina con área de juegos para niños, rancho BBQ, terraza, balcón, jacuzzi, mini bar y jardines visitados por aves tropicales y con vistas al espectacular Volcán Arenal, todo esto rodeado de paz y tranquilidad en armonía con la naturaleza.

Nuestras instalaciones se encuentran en un condominio privado, con guarda de seguridad y acceso restringido con portón de apertura remota. También contamos con espacio privado dentro de la propiedad para parquear 1-2 Vehiculos!)

Lhebergement est bien place et que dire de la cour qui est superbe. Il y avait des petits details, le coffre de sécurité ne fonctionnait pas, il manquait doreilliers, etc.Ce ne sont que des petits details mais outre ceci je vous recommande l'hébergement.

Lovely stay near Arenal

Great location about 10 to 15 minutes drive from La Fortuna. There is a great breakfast/ lunch place nearby however as well as some small Supers. The place itself is excellent with comfortable beds and good showers. It was just me and my partner and it would be ideal for two couples. The hot tub is also very good and the view of Arenal from the balcony is fantastic. I would recommend having a small 4x4 for the gravel roads up to the property and around the area.Thanks for having us in this unforgettable location.

We loved this rental, it was everything and more. We did not realize the jacuzzi was enclosed with the rental. We were 15 minutes from la fortuna but that was not a problem for us, it was an easy drive and it was nice to be away from all of the histle and buatle of the town. Def would come here again. So mixh room for a great price

La Fortuna and Adrenal National Parks

We had 3 adults and 4 kids setting at a Relax Home. Rooms are crowded when more than 3 people stay in a room. The Host was excellent at responding quickly to any questions we had. Arrival and departure instructions were excellent. Relax home is about a 15 minute drive to the town of Fortuna but has a grocery store and restaurants nearby if you choose to not drive into Fortuna. Great location for visiting Adrenal and Fortuna National Parks.

Very safe place

We felt very safe with a gated quiet community with a guard on routine walks. Never spoke to him, but you could see him in the distance or late night patrol. Never felt like he was looking, just felt safe.The place was different for us with the outside living room and kitchen was like a bar, very cool.

We were only there for just over 12hrs. It was a good stay while we were there. The jacuzzi was a nice touch. It was a bit difficult being a family of 5 but we made it work. Loved the desk with the swings.

Family Trip

This property was sufficient for our family stay. The kids enjoyed the community pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen was very small for cooking and the lower bedroom smelled very musty anytime it was not aired out. The open air living was fun, but we all missed having a comfy place to hang out. The views of the volcano are great and the hammock swings on the balcony are a fun spot to have morning coffee. We didn’t think the property was too far from the action but we also had a rental car. Overall this spot worked okay for our family. I’m not sure how 8 people could ever fit though. If you have kids just know that the bedrooms are one up and one down and the doors to get in each bedroom are outside. We felt safe but that could be tricky with little ones.

Coolest Place! A little tight for 8 so CUTE!

This place was AMAZING! We walked in at night and the outdoor space blew us away! It is the coziest backyard with a tv and jacuzzi! Loved the lighting and outdoor kitchen and table. The little kitchen was perfectly functional and cool. The main beds were comfy- we had 8 people and had to blow up the air mattress and it made the rooms pretty tight. The owners were so kind and even sent someone to bring us an extra blanket. I definitely recommend this place! Loved it so much!

The house was perfect for a family of three. It had a wonderful view of the volcano. It was lovely to sit on the porch and drink coffee in the morning. The property manager messaged with additional details the night before our stay began. His information was very helpful. When planning the stay for our needs, I based the VRBO location on what it states in the listing map provided. This is not correct representation of house location. It says it is one min walk to restaurants, etc. it is at least a ten min drive in to town. It worked out for us in the end. Otherwise, a very lovely stay. Thank you.

Relax House was Perfect!

We LOVED Relax House! It was perfect for my adult daughter and I. I could envision the place would be comfortable with 4-6 people. The house and its surroundings have so much character and charm! As an architect I appreciate the layout with the varied spaces and the use of the land. The indoor/outdoor areas were very private and secure. Communications with the Owner was always timely and with very clear instructions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Adorable Getaway

This was the perfect spot for five of us (3 adults & 2 teens) to stay while we were on vacation in the area. It would be a little crowded for 8 adults but it was so cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice break at the end of the day and the eating area was so cute. The location is a short drive to anything we needed. The communication with the owner was great although we didn't get the check-in information until late the night before we were supposed to arrive but once I sent a message the response was quick and sent all the needed information!

This is a really cool place to stay with a truly unique layout great for the warm weather in the region. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the opportunity to sit up on the deck. Has all the expected amenities of a well run VRBO. And really detailed communication from the host make everything easy.

Lovely place to host a crowd

Overall, this was a beautiful space to stay, the communication for the check in process was smooth, and answers to questions were very responsive. We selected this location with hopes that it would be a bit closer to La Fortuna, it is a bit further out than shown in the map in the VRBO description. It is not within walking distance to any attractions or the town itself. The place is designed to host a large group, where the cooking and entertaining is done out on the large patio. For the two of us, it was an odd space, we found the main downstairs bedroom and the kitchen was small, the pool is shared with the housing community with no lounge chairs. Would love to host a group of friends here, food on the grill and cold beverages, it just wasn’t for us.

Wonderfully Amenities, Very Secure

The host checked in with us, gave very detailed instructions with videos to get into the condo, and was pleasant to work with. We loved sitting outside with coffee or drinkd to hear the birds. The property was on the old side and needs some updating in the small kitchen area . It probably sat empty for a bit before our rental and had a musty smell . Disappeared after we ran the air conditioner for a while.We used the place only for sleeping so it served its purpose as it was a bit of a drive to Fortuna.

Lovely place

The property is large yet felt like a home, it’s beautiful and like described. It is a great place to stay but is a bit of a drive to La fortuna. The hot tub was lovely after a long day of hiking. The pillows weren’t the most comfortable to sleep on. The host was great, very responsive and easy to communicate with. He was able to quickly respond to any issue he had.
