Awesome hotel in great location

Staff very nice and responsive with everything from pointing out the two sloths on the property to giving change to cleaning up water that seeped under door into room from a major downpour. Location was great. Only downside was they were very strict on checkin time.

As a solo traveller I enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is a small oasis. The staff were so personable and helpful. The gardens on the property were maintained so beautifully. The breakfast was satisfying and I enjoyed the gallon pinto. Everything was well maintained and secure. The pool area was beautiful. Outside each room were lounge chairs. I was able to book tours through the front desk. Many delicious dining options available within walking distance, as well as the Central Park.

The property is stunning and Emilio and Jenny are both very warm and hospitable. We saw more wildlife here than in Cahuita National Park. Loved our stay here 🙂

Place was fair. Room smelled mildewy. No screen on the window so you couldnt air it out. It was fairly what was expected. The main reason we wouldn’t return is the wifi simply did not work. Not very good thing for us visiting from out of the country

The idea of this hotel is lovely- a tropical oasis with well planted gardens on the edge of the very busy town of La Fortuna, 5 mins walk to the main streets. The rooms are fine and spacious. The main problem is that the pool is tiny (more of a bath and crowded with children most of the day). If you don’t need a pool and want a base for exploring La Fortuna and the adventure activities in the region then the hotel is good. If relaxing by a pool is more your thing then this isn’t the place.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything I wanted to explore. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Appreciated the 3 choice options and self help coffee for breakfast. It was easy to enjoy a full hot breakfast and coffee without feeling rushed for shuttles Fabricio was helpful giving tips on what restaurants were nearby and good. Loved the free wifi. The room was large and clean. Enjoyed the patio overlooking the garden and pool area. Loved the clothing rack on our patio to hang wet suits and towels.

Decent place

The hotel was decent but a few things were not great: pool was closed for repairs, very poor lighting in room, very little furniture in room, forbidden to flush toilet paper down the toilet (!!). But the gardens were nice, breakfast good, beds comfortable, AC good and staff friendly.
