Villa Maria - The Hidden Gem in La Fortuna

Exclusive property with 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, A/C units, open areas, Arenal volcano view, fully equipped kitchen, great living room and terrace overlooking Arenal Volcano, WiFi (100 Megabytes), private pool, on site parking, gated property and located just 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna (Av 305 La Fortuna). Great for couples, extended families and friends traveling together.

The property has 4 bedrooms with A/C unit and private bathroom with hot water, fully equipped kitchen, living room area with smart TV, great terrace and private pool with an amazing view of Arenal Volcano, gated property with electric gate, WiFi (100 megabytes download/upload), great open areas so you can enjoy your stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

Bed distribution of the house:
Bedroom 1: One king size bed
Bedroom 2: One king size bed
Bedroom 3: Three queen size bed
Bedroom 4: Three queen size bed
***All bedrooms has A/C unit and private bathroom with hot water
***Maximum people staying in the house is 16, however the base rate per night is for 10 people, each additional person will have an extra cost of US$25 per person per night so please add the total of people staying to get the correct amount to pay.

We will offer our meal service in La Casa de La Tortilla, walking distance from the house you will meet Guiselle who has a little restaurant exclusive for our properties, concierge services for activities in the area, private chef and bar services. Once you set up your reservation you can ask for the services. Also we can offer our planning service with excellent rates of all the tours in the area, private tours, private shuttle services and much more.

In the property we have another Villa, each is very private and you do not share with anyone.

We offer FREE PLANNING SERVICE for your transportation and tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, just let us know what you would like to do and we will help you to organize your vacations in our country with excellent rates and service. Once you book our property we will send you a detailed document with information about activities, transportation and more things about La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. What a view!

We would highly recommend Villa Maria!The house was in a fantastic location, we could easily walk to town, sodas, restaurants and El Salto. It was clean and we felt very safe. The birds were amazing and the views of Arenal when the clouds are away is just unreal. The communication of the property manger was fantastic. They also helped set up transportation and an excursion. They were fast to respond and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for your trip to La Fortuna. We were 6 adults with 7 teens.

Great family spot

Our multi-generation family of 8 all enjoyed our time at this beautiful property, AND I can't say enough nice things about the Home Vacation/House of Tours service. We were making this trip "on our own" and their help with resources and speedy responses was just the best! Thanks especially to Mario. The property was just as described. We loved it. Spectacular view. Well equipped kitchen. Ample parking. Felt very safe. Lovely decor and linens. Thanks for all the great beach towels. Very detailed and helpful information about the house and area. Clear directions on getting there from the airport, plus restaurant recommendations along the way. We ate at Restaurant Mi Rancho both coming and going! All in all, a great Costa Rica family vacation. We all hated to leave. Pura vida!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our time spent in La Fortuna was so much better because of our stay at Villa Maria. There is tons of beds all of which were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. Booking this house was a great decision and we would definitely choose this house again.

Nice property

The house was very nice. Not over the top fancy but comfortable. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for large groups. Would have liked some additional seating in the living room but the outdoor seating made up for it. Kids really enjoyed the pool with a great view of the volcano right out front. At one point during our stay the washer broke and the host arranged for the cleaning lady to do our laundry for us which she graciously did. They also helped book a tour for us to the Baldi Hot Springs and saved us quite a bit of money. Be sure to also have breakfast with Guiselle next door. Wonderful authentic Costa Rica. Experience.

Excellent Stay / house in La Fortuna

perfect location. perfect house. worked well for our family group. Everything was as advertised. Property Manager, House of Tours, responded to every request and they we very accommodating. the house itself was clean, as good or better than the pictures. Location is perfect, less than a mile outside of town. close to all the activities, waterfall, volcano, etc. we really enjoyed the local swimming hole with rope swing that was within walking distance of our place.

Beautiful and spacious property with Volcano views

The views of the Volcano from your patio and pool were amazing. Plenty of sleeping space and having 4 full bathrooms was great. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. It would be great to have a dishwasher and air conditioning in the family room and kitchen but you are in a rainforest. Eder and the entire crew were very responsive and helpful. The very close walking distance to the El Salto rope swing was a big hit with my teenage sons. We didn't rent a car while in La Fortuna but it might be helpful to get groceries and get to the local restaurants. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Beautiful home ih La Fortuna

We certainly enjoyed our stay! We had quite a bit of mis-communication with the host as well as no hot water for the first day we were there (propane tank had run out). The tiny ants all over the kitchen are probably par for the course in such a climate - I would have like a can of bug spray available. Nevertheless, the property worked out very well for us and our 6 adult "kids".

Beautiful part of the world and wonderful accommodation. Great pool and outdoor space, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and really nice to have a bathroom in each. Kitchen well equipped with big outdoor eating area. Really close walk to several delicious restaurants. Great stay!

Hidden Gem

The house was perfect. Not over the top fancy but has everything you could need. Full bathroom in every bedroom and a well appointed kitchen. The outside area was awesome. Great pool. Unobstructed view of the volcano and a short walk to everything. Great find. We would stay there again.

Great house in LaFortuna

Our family group of 10 had a wonderful stay at this modern LaFortuna home. The property is only a few minutes from town, and the house and property were very clean. Each bedroom had an attached bath and air conditioning. The beds were comfortable. We loved relaxing in the pool with the amazing volcano view. There is another house on the gated property but there are trees in between so it still feels private. There are adequate supplies for cooking. We ran out of LP gas one evening when we were going to use the flat top grill and we contacted management who had someone come with a replacement cylinder in less than an hour. A couple of minor issues- the washing machine wouldn’t spin the clothes dry and the safe handle seemed to be broken. (Just adding this for future renters reference, because these were really not a big deal for us) We loved this house and would definitely recommend to others.

Great stay La Fortuna

House was great- perfectly comfortable, lots of space, pool, hammocks, outdoor patio to relax. Only knocked down one star for cleanliness because there were ants in the kitchen. House otherwise very clean and comfortable. Check in process very easy, staff was great and mad e themselves very accessible by text. Gave great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend and stay again!

La Fortuna Fun

We loved the house! It had everything we needed, and lots of beds. We adored the outside living area, and the views were spectacular! We totally appreciated the basket of pool towels. The location of the house was great, because every activity we did was 30 min or less away! Although we were only a mile from downtown, you definitely needed to drive there at night. Walking wasn’t really an option.

Wonderful work lace in La Fortuna

Our stay was superb from start to finish. The communication with the host was better than any place I’ve ever stayed. As a guest I had made a couple of mistakes in our booking, and Eder/Alan was more than accommodating, he made things happen for us last minute, and I will be forever, grateful for the communication and the knowledge and follow through. I would absolutely book with house of tours again. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our first time in Costa Rica.

Our family of 11 loved staying at Villa Maria! Eder and his staff were so helpful in every aspect. Our flights were delayed and made us late checking in. Eder waited for us and led us directly to Villa Maria. It was clean, very well furnished, comfortable beds, great outdoor living area, etc. Great view of volcano! Location was easy and accessible to La Fortuna attractions. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful, modern stay

The house was absolutely stunning with all of the amenities you could possibly need! Perfect location just outside of the hustle and bustle of town but within 2-3 driving distance to go over for a quick meal or coffee. Beds were so comfortable and each room has its own air conditioning, although the common areas were without air we were still very comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the host graciously waited for us after our flight was delayed and we showed up after hours. My favorite part was the hammocks hanging on the porch with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Totally recommend!
