Not a huge deal, but the hotel description lists that breakfast was included. However, it was not. There was not even a crumb of food in the dining area. They had a small coffee service set up but that was all. Rooms were ok but not very spacious.

The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Great shower. This is a pet friendly hotel which we appreciate however there wasn’t any grass for our little dog to do “her business”. The property has no grass and so many burrs so we had to drive elsewhere for her to use the bathroom.

They definitely have updated parts of the property but bathroom in room so small and water felt dirty and no pressure. The floor in our room was dirty. Pool area had sharp objects and hair everywhere. Very disappointed.

Well, I do have a couple of good things to say about this hotel. It was a little cheaper than where I usually stay. The room was clean; the bed was comfortable. The lady that checked me in was very nice and helpful during check-in but that changed when I started asking questions. The hotel website states Free Breakfast! OK, let's began you get a grab and go bag! Not even waffles because they have new management and they don't have to give breakfast! I asked about coffee in room, dam, I thought I said something terrible wrong as she raised her little arms and told me if I wanted coffee they have a pot in front. If I didn't like that coffee, she would make a new pot! After I made a Wal-Mart run for some breakfast items, I get a text! The way it was worded I thought someone had the wrong number. Nope, it was sent to me. After a couple messages I blocked them. After being told if I didn't like the way the hotel was ran, there was other hotels in Lamar, I should go to one of them! That they don't have to offer breakfast items or coffee! As I pointed out it's on your website. Didn't matter, this person continued to be very rude and just a total ass. I hope they lose their job. I make several trips to Lamar a year. You can bet on one thing, I'll NEVER stay at this hotel ever again.

Third night in a Wyndham, and the best one yet. Josh at the front desk was very friendly and efficient. He even gave suggestions on places to eat. The inside was immaculate anf updated.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The uncarpeted (which is just fine with me) floors just didn’t feel extremely clean. They felt gritty and upon looking didn’t appear to have been dusted. My major problem is the “free breakfast” only consisted of coffee and a small granola bar. No toast, cereal, packaged muffins or fruit were available. A person could ask for a breakfast burrito from the front desk. I’m sure it was packaged like what comes from a gas station. I am done with Wyndham hotels.

Staff were nice, room was pretty clean, but the outdoor property was horrible, very dirty and covered in trash. If you bring a pet/service dog, there is basically no where safe for them to go to the bathroom.

This hotel looks older from the outside, but COMPLETELY renovated inside! The beds are 10/10 for comfort and the overall cleanliness and quality is amazing!

The place looks old, although there have been renovations done to the room it requires more work done. The room had a cigarette smell; it may have been from the smoking room lingering. The blackout curtains did not block out the outside lights. The bed was comfortable.
