Just 300 meters from the banks of the Loire, these elegant and spacious guest rooms are located on a wooded property with a heated swimming pool. Located on the upper floors of this charming tuffeau stone house, typical of the region, the rooms, built with high-quality materials, all offer views of the 1.4-hectare park. A beautiful escape for a peaceful stay!

On the agenda: a walk or bike ride along the Loire and its villages (Le Thoureil, Saint Mathurin-sur-Loire, etc.), a visit to the town of Saumur, 20 minutes away, famous for its château, its Cadre Noir, and its wines; or simply relaxing by the pool or in the shade of one of the property's magnificent trees.

At Le Verdelay, breakfasts are served in the dining room or on the terrace on sunny days: coffee, tea, fruit juice, homemade cake, pastries from the village bakery, jams, and more. For those with a sweet tooth, cheese and charcuterie are available upon request.

Stéphane and Sandrine will be happy to share their favorite places and tips for exploring the region. For cycling enthusiasts, the town center is 5 minutes from the house (bakery, butcher, convenience store, etc.) and the main Loire à Vélo cycle route is 15 minutes away.

3 spacious bedrooms named after a traditional boat:

- The "Toue Cabanée": on the first floor, with antique parquet flooring, blue tones, an en-suite shower room, and a private toilet accessible from the landing.

- The "Gabare" family suite: on the first floor, features a spacious, comfortable bedroom in soft colors, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, and toilet, and a second bedroom in warmer tones, ideal for families.

- The "Fûtreau": on the second floor, features a bedroom with exposed tuff stone and an en-suite shower room with toilet.

Each room has a courtesy tray: kettle, tea/coffee, and water.

A shared microwave and refrigerator are available in the breakfast room. The swimming pool is heated seasonally (May to September, weather permitting - 5m x 10m, depth 1m to 1.70m - shared with guests of the gîte located on the same property). Enclosed parking is available on the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. Baby equipment is available upon request (crib and high chair).
