Other Things to Note:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: During the summer months, the area experiences water shortages where at times, you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). Our local team can provide you with assistance if you have questions.

*The Esterito area of downtown is an older neighborhood so sometimes you’ll hear dogs barking.

We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels.

Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture, or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out.

There is no daily housekeeping service but if you’d like the place cleaned during your stay, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee, in this case, charged on the day of check-in.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

There are surveillance cameras on the property, strictly for security reasons, to ensure guests' safety. All cameras face outdoor areas only.

The wifi is 100 mbps and on a mesh network. It is fast enough to support multiple zoom video calls or multiple video streams at once.

Nice, Convenient and Clean
I appreciated my stay at Cozy Casita very much. The space is exactly as it is represented online and it was a perfect place for me to stay during my three nights in La Paz. Clean, comfortable and only a couple blocks from the Malecon but in a residential setting so it is quieter than the busy pedestrian areas. The WiFi is easy to access and has a strong signal so I appreciated drinking my tea and completing my morning emails on the front patio. The bed is comfortable and is large enough to easily fit a couple. I highly recommend Cozy Casita for any solo travelers or couples who want a nice, convenient and easy to use place to stay in wonderful La Paz.

Basic place but close to everything
Pros: - literally down the street from the Malecon - close driving distance from the main beaches - Oxxo a block away - great place for two people max to be comfortable - bed was comfortable - A/C was strong Cons: - bathroom was dirty and shower was dirty - one small used roll of toilet paper and they stated that we would have to buy that on our own along with trash bags - not great for several days - no ventilation in the bathroom - shower would clog - Wi-Fi was patching along with tv signal

Great owner, poor management company
This property was nice and the owner, was great. The property management company was terrible. I requested a cancellation because I had a change in itinerary and they coldly told me that there was a strict no cancellation policy. I contacted VRBO to help and they said, because it was run through a 3rd party property management company all management aspects had to go through the property management company, but offered to call the company for me. VRBO called the property management company but the property management company said they were unwilling to offer any exceptions, saying "business is business". All of this was before the day of check in. The day of check in, I asked if I could store my bags somewhere on site, and check in after the set check in time. They quickly responded and said there was nowhere to store the bags and that my check in wasn't for a few hours. I was standing outside and looking at places the bags could be put. Somehow, the owner got in touch with me and said that I could store the bags and that wasn't a problem. I had already left the property with my bags. I told the owner that I saw there was a fifty-something dollar weekly fee for electricity. I lived in La Paz for a year and this is ridiculous, especially in winter, when the AC is off all day. The owner told me she didn't know about it and I should call the management company which I am about to do now. Communication came through multiple formats, so that was confusing as well.
