Set in the beautiful village of Crete Cote, this lovely apartment is nestled amongst the forest, with the most stunning view of Mont Blanc and just below the village of Plagne 1800.
A rare opportunity for 8 guests, families or friends, to enjoy a spacious and modern apartment, whilst still having the cosy chalet feel.
The chalet site of Crete Cote is between the villages of Plagne 1800 and La Roche. Both have chair lifts that access the huge 425km of PARADISKI pistes.
With a free shuttle bus every hour, offering access to Plagne Centre, Plagne 1800 and also every hour to La Roche.
There is also an off piste track a few minutes walk from the building that joins the bottom of the red run down to Roche - this is for those who can ski, but the access on the shuttle bus is so easy, dropping you a short walk to the piste in Plagne centre, Plagne 1800 or La Roche . We also use Oxygene ski school who offer a minibus service to and from the ski school meeting points in Plagne Centre, which is a much loved service (and on many occasions much easier than walking distance properties, in Ski boots with children or beginners!)
The apartment consists of two bedrooms, each with twin beds that can be pushed together and used as doubles and two bedrooms with bunk beds. One bathroom with a full size bath and integrated shower and a separate shower room. There is one separate toilet.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is spacious and comfortable offering a well equipped kitchen with the following - dishwasher, fridge freezer, full size oven and 4 ring hob and microwave, fondue equipment and filter coffee machine & plenty of cooking equipment to feed 8!
Lovely, large windows and balcony door make the place feel bright and overlook the stunning view. There is free parking all around the building. The village itself does not have any shops or restaurants but it is a few minutes on the free bus to the next villages and this runs until 12am.

We had a wonderful stay in the chalet. It was clean and perfectly suited for eight people. There's also a locker with heating for ski boots. La Plagne is easily accessible by bus, and it's also possible to ski directly to the slopes towards La Roche from the chalet access road.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this chalet over Christmas and New Year! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the chalet itself exceeded all expectations—spotlessly clean, warm, and wonderfully comfortable. Perfect for six adults, it was fully equipped for cozy dinners in after long ski days. Despite having just one toilet, it never caused any issues, and we always had plenty of hot water for showers.The little extras made it even better: a warm, easily accessible boot room and a great selection of DVDs and games (not even mentioned in the listing!). The host’s local agent checked in on Christmas Eve, which was such a thoughtful touch.The only minor downside was the lack of parking and the icy walk from the bus stop, which might be tricky for beginners or families with young kids. For us, it was no problem—the bus stop at the bottom of Crete Cote was super convenient. Our older kids hired skis at Sport 2000 Plagne 1800 and rented a locker near the lift, making mornings and evenings stress-free. They even made a ritual of warming up by the fire at La Mine Bar for a quick drink before heading back for a cozy night in!With buses running so frequently, we won’t bother hiring a car next time. Tip: Follow @thatslaplagne on Instagram—Jen shares brilliant updates on weather, runs, bus timetables, restaurants, and more. It was a lifesaver for planning our days.We loved this trip so much we’re already looking at dates to return. Highly recommend this chalet

Ok apartment but difficult to get to, parking an issue and waiting for buses was frustrating.

It was not possible to access the hilly driveway up to the apartment as it was covered in black ice/snow. We arrived late (in the dark) due to long delays and had to leave our car at the bottom of the driveway and carry all our luggage/food up to the apartment which after travelling for 16 hrs wasn't great. The next morning we put on snow chains but there was still an issue trying to find a parking space for our car. The apartment wasn't very clean. Some dirty cutlery, filter with used coffee left in the coffee machine. Beds were not made and we had to wait until the next morning for towels. The oven needed cleaning out. There were plenty of pots and pans etc.... good fridge/freezer. Heating was great, very hot. Showers great. Would we return, no we would go for accommodation in either 1800 or 2000 where there is easy access to slopes (no bus rides), shops, restaurants etc.......On the day we were leaving the gritter arrived to grit the driveway up to the apartments so this may not be an issue for others. An average stay but great skiing and wonderful conditions.

Lovely apartment, great location

The apartment is fantastic - very well furnished and stocked with lots of little extras you don't normally get in self-catered accommodation, and plenty of plates, mugs etc, that made it really easy to cater for the 6 of us. There is a bath with shower over and a shower room, but we were a little surprised there was only one toilet, I don't know why but for some reason we were expecting one in the bathroom and a separate one. I guess we didn't read the description carefully enough. There was loads of hot water, and the heating was excellent. There is a great selection of dvds unfortunately there is no TV aerial but we could have streamed from our tablet (the Wifi is free and very good) if we'd remembered the HDMI cable! The apartment block itself is quiet, in a quiet area. Its a short walk down to the bus stop, and the top of a shortcut to the red piste down to La Roche lift. You have to take care though, the road when we were there was extremely icy due to very cold temperatures and rain! There was parking for two cars close by. The shortcut to the piste is narrow, so involved snowploughing and walking uphill at the end (I never "let go" soon enough) - so if you are lazy/timid the ski bus is ideal - you can get to La Plagne centre and then change if you want to go to BellePlagne and its about the same time as it takes intermediate skiers to ski there so you can meet up. You can ski back at night to the top of the road, apparently its a "red red" so I didn't risk it with tired legs, but the rest of our party used this rather than the bus to get home. Checking in/out is really easy too - we arrived late at night and due to the key pickup it was no problem. The boot room for storing skis etc is a bonus. The La Plagne ski area is great for intermediates and it seemed to be mainly skiers - the weather wasn't great though so the fun parks were closed so maybe there would normally be more snowboarders. We were there at half-term and apart from queues at the main "access" lifts it was relatively quiet (again might have been the zero visibility putting people off). We would definitely book again, the owner is extremely friendly and responsive to emails and we felt very welcome. We had a taste of what it would be like in nice weather on our last day, and were gutted to be coming home.

Bon séjour du jour de l’an à Crête cote en-dessous de Plagne 1800. Une navette par heure pour rejoindre les sites (Plagne 1800, Centre) ou pour redescendre au hameau de Crête côte. Donc ne pas rater la navette! Une neige abondante cette année donc possible retour et de départ de l’appartement à ski. Appartement conforme à la description et une bonne communication (en anglais) avec les propriétaires.

Very nice!

We spent a really nice week there as a group of 6 people. The location was easy to find (plenty of parking spots), the arrival "logistics" went great. The apartment is spacious, calm, comfy, and well-situated. The 2 bathrooms were much appreciated after long ski days! Kitchen is very well-equipped and bedrooms are cosy. The access to the slopes is easy on skis. In a nutshell, a great place for great holidays!

Nice home for 6-8 people

Only had issues opening the door with a wrong code given by the owner for the lock. Besides that it is a good house. Getting to the ski area is by bus which only goes 1 time per hour, so don't miss it.. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Très joli appartement pour des vacances à La Plagne

Chalet propre, bien équipé, correspondant aux photos. Un peu juste pour 8 personnes cependant (le séjour et la salle à manger sont un peu petits pour 8 adultes), mais parfait pour 6. La literie un peu ferme. Le local à ski et la boite à clés sont très pratiques. Le chalet est très bien placé: les navettes amènent rapidement à Plagne 1800, l'accès aux pistes se fait facilement et le retour sur 300m le long de la route à partir de l'héliport se fait bien. Je recommande pour vos vacances à La Plagne!

A warm , well equipped chalet. Not too far from La Plagne Village .

Chalet felt spacious even though there were two families, great to have separate bedrooms. A separate toilet also great. Kitchen very well equipped with crockery and cooking pans / utensils. Oven and freezer were really useful to have. Owner very helpful when contacted about queries. Initially had trouble getting WiFi to work however if use long number on back of WiFi box then can get it to work. Difficult to ski from / to chalet with little snow, but good bus service and only a 5 min drive to La Plagne Village and ski lifts. Overall a lovely chalet, in a quite area of La Plagne.

Mooie, comfortabele chalet. Geen ideale ligging voor de skifanaat!!

Mooie, relatief ruime chalet voor 6 personen en een baby. Mooi terras maar jammer van de orientatie....bijna nooit zon op het terras! De chalet was wel niet goed gepoetst bij aankomst....zodat wij verplicht waren om eerst te poetsen voor wij konden uitpakken!! De ligging is voor de skifanaat niet ideaal....! Vertrek en aankomst aan de chalet met de ski's aan is niet mogelijk!! Om terug te komen moet je telkens gebruik maken van de skishuttle.... Prijs/kwaliteit is ok!

Very good!

We had a nice holiday week as a group of 8 people in Cote Crete D. Great location on the mid-way to Plagne Center easy to find. Convenient parking with several possible spots to chose from. Apartment was in a very good condition, cosy rooms with enough space to comfortably sleep even at full capacity of 8 persons. Kitchen is clean and has all needed things in practically new condition. Chalet building is well sound-proof, not much noise was heard between rooms and other apartments. Easy to reach La Roche slope and lift on skis. Thank you Jacki!

Ski holiday New Year 2012

This apartment was perfect for our family group of parents, one teenager and four young adults. The description was accurate, the apartment clean and well equipped, and the views were amazing, plus it is a quiet village. You do need a car, especially for skiers who would not have the confidence to ski along a narrow path through trees to reach the nearest piste. We understood a ski bus went past the end of the road but we never saw it and I think it only went hourly. A separate ski bus circulates continually round the separate parts of La Plagne but not past the apartment. The owner provided prompt and reliable customer service before departure and there was good access to the contact in resort. We could only access wi-fi in certain parts of the house but went to La Mine pub occasionally for their free wi-fi and great atmosphere. We had all we needed for cooking evening meals, and had one meal out at Le Petit Chaperon Rouge which was really good. We would recommend this apartment to friends as we had a really successful holiday, helped by good snow and five days of warm sun!

Review in English We had a fantastic stay in your chalet! There was enough space for our group (5 adults & 3 children). The apartment was clean and everything you need is available. The two bathrooms are also perfect. The view is amazing and we still miss in during breakfast! The contact upon arrival is very good. La plagne is a beautiful ski area and a stay in this apartment makes it even better! Review in Dutch We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het apartement had genoeg ruimte voor onze groep (5 volwassenen & 3 kinderen) Het apartement was schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! De indeling is top en de twee badkamers zijn ook perfect. Het uitzicht is echt prachtig. Elke ochtend aan het ontbijt waren we aan het genieten en missen het nog steeds. Ski holiday

I visited this apartment last winter for a ski holiday and had a wonderful stay. The views from the windows are stunning and the building is in a beautiful situation. The apartment is very spacious and was warm and comfortable. Everything I needed for my holiday comfort was available and the accomodation was delightfully furnished in Alpine style. The listing descriptions are accurate and the apartment seemed larger than described. I found the apartment very clean and the customer service was excellent. La Plagne is a excellent and varied area in which to ski or have a summer hoilday. The apartment is well situated . It is useful to have a car and there is plenty of parking available. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and have infact already done so.

La Plagne ski chalet

The Chalet was clean and warm upon arrival, and had everything you would need for a holiday. A car is essential though, as the roads would be dangerous to walk along, especially at night.
