Fantastic summer alpine apartment, 2,5 minutes walk to village - sleeps 8

The apartment in residence Phoenix, Belle Plagne, is newly renovated, with a brand new kitchen and both bathrooms, the master bedroom is en-suit and is absolutely beautiful. The lounge/kitchen/diner is a lovely, large open plan space - the lounge area has three sofas, which turn into single sofa beds, one has a pull out bed underneath - there is also a TV and DVD player. Free personal wifi has just been added!!!! The dining area has a large wooden table with lovely, chunky wooden chairs and easily seat 8 comfortably. The kitchen doesn't get more perfect, with an full sized single oven, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, lots of cupboard space and space for chopping and then cooking on the four ring induction hob. The kitchen has pop up sockets with two of the all important USB charging points for all your technology requirements. The balcony has the most exquisite views of the mountains and is very sunny for the vast majority of the day, being south facing. The master bedroom has an en-suit shower room with natural stone tiles, with chunky wooden vanity and stone basin, with towel rail and the bedroom has beautiful brushed wood with spot lights in the ceiling and a lovely chunky wooden double bed. The second bedroom has a double bed with single bunk above and makes a great family room. There is also a family bathroom with bath and integrated shower, also in natural stone tiles, also with lovely wooden unit with stone basin and wall hung toilet along with heated towel rail. We do not include linen and towels but you can rent them on request. The end of stay clean is included in the price, however we request that you leave the property tidy with a clean kitchen. Belle Plagne is a twinkly and very snowy village and in summer luscious and green with heaps of activities for children and adults alike (mountain biking, Electric mountain biking, via ferrata, climbing, bouncy castles, festi plagne, high altitude trail races). It has fabulous restaurants with sunny decks, a decent size super market, ski shops, a fantastic bakery and shops selling all things very french. Everything is just a few minutes walk from the apartment and it has the most beautiful views at the snow sure heights of 2050 meters, so skiing is fantastic right from the start to the end of the season! all with cozy new duvets and pillows. Private underground parking can be rented right next to the apartment, so you are guaranteed a parking space!
La Plagne is a vast playground, ideal for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers - one of the largest ski areas in the world (420km of marked piste) since the new Vanoise Express Cable car to Les Arcs was built. Belle Plagne has the gondola to the snow sure Bellecote Glacier at 3400 meters for the more advanced and those who love off piste- there is a new beginners area. It is also only one short easy blue down (or the gondolla) to Bellecote where there is another Nursery slope. ESF meeting points are a few minutes walk and other ski schools are also very close by.

We loved the apartment. We were only 4 people staying so lots of room. Two well appointed bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is equipped with all you need. The beds and sofas are comfy. A great view from the balcony. The piste is close by but there are a lot of stairs both up and down to be navigated in ski boots.

We had a great 4 days. Check in process really easy. Location is convenient. Really clean and airy. Great views from balcony. Lounge much bigger and airier than looks in picture. Fully recommend.

March 2020

We stayed here for one week in early March 2020 , with 2 couples sharing. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern and well placed for access to the slopes, bars and shops. There is an underground car park close by which was very convenient for loading and unloading although you do have to navigate a few flights of stairs. There is a nice view of the slopes from the kitchen/dining room. Kate was very responsive to any questions that we had during our stay, The hallway had plenty of rrom to store our skis, boards and boots. I would highly recommend this apartment for 4 people.

Great location and amazing views from the lounge kitchen

Our overall view of the property was great. The lounge is very spacious and probably felt more so as we were only 3 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the view of the mountain slopes opposite from the kitchen/ diner was outstanding. It was also lovely to have a small balcony. Our only comments (small in the scheme of things) were as follows: 1. The shower in the ensuite sprayed all over the floor providing a trip hazard, with some adjustment that should easily be rectified. Or provide a bathmat. 2. The extractor fans in both bathrooms did not work. 3. For the price it was surprising that bedding and tea towels were not included. Thank you again, Henry and Sandra

Bel appartement

L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce, attention quand même concernant la localisation, l'appartement est effectivement proche des pistes mais il faut emprunter plusieurs escalier ce qui n'est pas forcément pratique en chaussures de skis. L'appartement est plutôt bien équipé, ( poêles et casseroles à revoir car ceux présent sont petits pour un appartement pouvant accueillir 7 personnes ). Il serait bien d'avoir un appareil à raclette. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et recommandons l'appartement.

Séjour sympathique en famille à Belle Plagne

L’appartement est bien situé par rapport au centre de belle Plagne et des pistes. Il est grand et a permis d’accueillir notre famille ainsi que celle de ma sœur sans être les uns sur les autres. Nous étions huit avec un bébé. La procédure d’arrivée était très clairement expliquée dans le pdf envoyé par Kate. L’appartement est bien équipé et offre une vue incroyable! Seul petit bémol dans la communication sur le site : ma soeur a cherché à contacter Kate sur le site Abritel pour disposer d’un lit pour son bébé mais n’y est pas parvenu (elle a reçu une réponse comme quoi il ne fallait pas passer par le site ou qqchose comme ça). Je suis un peu fautive car j’avais reçu le contact Whatsapp que j’aurais du lui partager. Nous adorons Belle Plagne et les accès très faciles aux autres stations. Nous recommandons la station et l’appartement!

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week in Belle Plagne. The apartment was perfect for our family group of six adults. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Great views from the balcony and ski in ski out, what more could you ask for.

Great holiday in a Great Location

We went for the Easter holiday, consisting of two families. The transfer was easy after our flight was delayed by two hours. On arrival we were relieved to find such a lovely apartment after the delay. It has a beautiful view over the valley with the sunshine blazing onto the balcony. The apartment was of a large size, finished to a good standard along with being clean and tidy. It made an ideal base for the weeks skiing, which we made the most of. It’s well placed to ski down into the next village Bellecote or join the La Plagne ski area. The location was ideal to explore the valley from. I would strongly recommend you enjoy some of the après ski in the La Tete Inn in the village, we enjoyed a few drinks after a hard days skiing there. The pub is child friendly so you can all enjoy. In summary we loved out stay and would look to return. Regards Adam.

really great apartment, we had a lovely time there

we arrived and absolutely loved the village of Belle Plagne! The apartment was spacious and our party was 6 adults so the two bathrooms really helped there! We found the short walk to the piste very easy as it is all undercover and parking was easy as the owners have their own under cover space under the building that we rented for the week. All round a fab holiday!
