Summer vacation

This is the second time we rent this property. Both times we came with family. This time we found the property changed for the best. The house was very clean, the rooms are very comfortable. We had an excellent time. We highly recommend this house. The view is amazing, and the porch is great for having a nice breakfast or a meal any time of day We will be back for sure!

Location, location, location

Beautiful lake view from the living room and some bedrooms. Close to LaPointe, and to the State Park. Well stocked kitchen. Master bedroom mattress was a bit too soft.

Great house across from the lake

Loved the location of the house, the windows and all the natural light. Inside is fairly outdated but mostly all in working order. Only complaint is there is a very strong moldy smell on the back of the house towards the bedrooms. Other than that, we truly enjoyed out stay,

Property Evaluation

The location and view of the lake were awesome. The rest of our stay wasn't so good. The furniture in the living area was wicker outdoor furniture, and very uncomfortable. the smell when we got there suggested the crawlspace underneath hasn't been taken care of at all. I have been to Madeline Island many times and this is by far the worst property that we have stayed at. Mary Ann's needs some serious updating. Get some furniture that people can relax in with comfort and encapsulate the crawlspace so it doesn't smell so musty all the time.

A Fine Autumn Weekend

Mary Ann’s place has great light, well resourced, and comfortable. Great to see the sunrise over the lake and also a grand Hunter’s Moon.

We loved the view and location of the home. The only things I would say that was not the best is the routine maintenance should have been done on the furnace. It had been making noise and the filter was caked with dust and was really gross. There were bugs smashed on the walls I assume this was done by previous guests. When talking with the manager about some of the items that were broken he was great about documenting and handling any issue that came up. You can tell that the owner is updating the home in portions. It would have been great if the living room furniture was updated prior to our stay. But the house was exact as pictured. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay on the beautiful island!

Family fun for the Fourth!!!

Amazing view from the front windows and porch!!! Quick drive to town, the bay or the park. We enjoyed the open kitchen and living room area to play games. The TV had VHS and a few stations but we barely had it on. Each evening we had a spectacular view of the moon and stars. The property manager communicated ahead of time with us and was prompt to help us out when I locked us out of the house. I definitely recommend this rental.

Nice property with an excellent view.

Of all the places we’ve stayed, this one was without a doubt our favorite one. Fantastic view of Lake Superior, large kitchen, and Ron was great to work with. Will definitely be booking this property again.
