A freshly remodeled two bedroom, two bathroom condo in the Tennis Villas behind La Quinta Resort with over 1600 square feet of living space on two floors. Majestic mountain view from a private balcony, two spacious bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and a large living upstairs living area make this the perfect vacation retreat!

The Space:
The two story condo provides equal living and sleeping space with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the lower level and a spacious living/dining/kitchen area on the second floor. Guests enter through the front door or garage on the first floor and find two bedrooms at the back of the condo. The primary bedroom features a king bed, wall-mounted smart TV and large closet. The en-suite primary bathroom has been newly renovated and has a walk-in shower and double vanity. On the opposite side of the first floor is the guest bedroom with two queen beds. It also opens to the patio and has en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Guests climb a flight of stairs to the second floor where they are greeted by an open living area with a massive wall-mounted smart TV, comfy seating and a large dining area with a table seating six. The full kitchen has every major appliance all of which were recently replaced. Modern finishes and warm tones complement the engineered hardwood and travertine floors. A large balcony is accessed from the kitchen and has an outdoor dining table perfect for family dinners with a view of the setting sun over the Santa Rosa mountains. Ample cookware and dinnerware make meal preparation and service a breeze and a second floor powder room and first floor laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer round out a long list of in-house amenities.

An attached two car garage and off-street parking in front of the condo give guests the ability to park in or close to the condo without issue. A heated community pool and hot tub are just steps away and the lobby and shops/restaurants of La Quinta aren't more than a 5-10 minute walk. The quiet yet convenient location in the heart of La Quinta makes this condo a must for your next vacation of a few nights to a few weeks in the Coachella Valley. You won't find a better place to call home!

Guest Access:
California Vacation Villas provides guests with 24-hour contactless check-in and check-out through automated access. Guests will receive a door code specific to their stay 3 days prior to arrival. The code will activate at 4pm on the day of arrival and deactivate at 11am on the day of departure. The Tennis Villas are in a gated community along with Santa Rosa Cove and 24 hour security provides access through two gates to enter the community. The condos have attached two car garages and there is additional lot parking and street parking along Avenida Fernando and Calle Mazatlan. Guests should park in the garage, open lot spaces or along the street in the direction of traffic and display the parking pass provided by security at all times. Garage doors should remain closed when not in use.

The Neighborhood:
The Tennis Villas are a collection of privately owned one-three bedroom condos in a gated community behind La Quinta Resort in south La Quinta. The one and two story villas provide travelers with a comfortable resort setting while having all the benefits of a spacious living space complete with all the comforts of home. Multiple heated community pools and hot tubs combined with quick access to La Quinta Resort and the surrounding area put guests in a prime location. The majority of the Tennis Villa units are less than a 10 minute walk to the main lobby area of La Quinta Resort. The lobby area includes multiple dining options including Twenty-Six, Adobe Grill and Morgan's Steakhouse. A variety of shops and the resort's conference rooms are located near the lobby. The community is a short-drive to the Mountain and Dunes Golf Courses, Old Town La Quinta and the Highway 111 shopping corridor. If you're looking for a resort experience in a private home, the Tennis Villas should be at the top of your list.

La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's American Express event is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. The BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament is hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every March; only a 10-15 minute drive from a majority of our properties in the city. Don't forget the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival in February, La Quinta Arts Festival in March and the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals in April. The Coachella Valley is a wonderful destination for outdoor adventure in all seasons. This vacation villa is the perfect place for your next visit to the California desert!

Getting Around:
Guests visiting the Coachella Valley can access a majority of the desert's attractions within 10-45 minutes by car. Ride share and taxis are available a majority of the time and are more readily available from November-April. Palm Springs International Airport is a 20-45 minute drive from most desert locations and Ontario and Los Angeles International Airport can be used as alternatives for air travel. Interstate 10 runs through the northern side of the Coachella Valley providing access to all desert cities from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego to the west and Phoenix and Las Vegas to the east and north. A car is recommended for any extended stay in the area

The check-in process was delayed due to the management company failing to send their required rental agreement via separate email and thus not triggering to send check-in instructions. Calling the management company directly provided an agent who needed to contact another party to actually send the agreement prior to being able to check-in. this took over 30 minutes to complete. I did not have a laptop and needed to complete on my cell phone. While it was doable, it did not provide me to actually read everything I was required to sign. Once signed and having received check-in instructions, We were able to unload and setup for the weekend. While the unit has been upgraded with modern amenities, it sorely lacked much more than basic items such as kitchen utensils, appliances, glasses, etc... Even the bedrooms downstairs lacked any seating area. The downstairs basically provided a bed and bathrooms to shower and get ready. No place to sit and put on your shoes, talk to your spouse, etc... The master Bdrm shower drained extremely slow and needs to be cleaned out from built up hair. With these irritations, we still enjoyed the upstairs being able to gather and spend time with family.

BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY After booking this property in April for the December 2023 holidays we were subsequently told in October (6 months later) that it was no longer available and only a single property in an unrelated but community was available. Given I had already booked flights and was committed to this trip I didn't have much choice to agree to the new accommodation (alternatives offered were to cancel or somehow find another quality property 2 months before the holidays at a reasonable price if one was even available) which was not nearly as nice as the photos included here and importantly in a lessor community (the original booking has access to sport courts, restaurants, etc.) while the place I ultimately stayed did not. As we were traveling with friends who were staying in the original location (separate unit), this bait & switch made the entire trip less enjoyable and more complicated as we sought to spend time together with our young children. When trying to get in touch with the company, they did not return multiple phone calls over the course of a week and then finally called back without much of an apology or any discount offered whatsoever.

Everything was great and as listed. My only complaints would be the A/C. Upon arrival the house was set 84, it’s 115 outside. The house took forever to cool down and never really cooled down down stairs, A/C also is firmly set at 72, which doesn’t cool the down stairs where the bedrooms are. Management was quick and set someone out though it didn’t make a difference.
