Great place but needs better front desk hospitalit

The lodge was nice and clean. Check in and check out were painfully slow and they complained about “third party bookings”. The one girl at the front desk was extremely rude and needs to learn about customer service. Otherwise, beautiful place, just expensive and the $40/day resort fee is ridiculous. The gardens and everything is “included” in the room but it’s really not with the resort fee.

Beautiful place. Great dining selections a lot to do. Just had a few issues with staff. Not enough people working coffee bar. Waited 1 hour to get a coffee in the morning. Just needs more help. Pool bar was closed. Most of the weekend

Times are wrong online of when facilities are open. Pool was closed the entire stay and was told it was open online and by the front desk walked to pool and it was closed multiple times. Staff are very nice. Food is terrible and High prices for something that looks like it was bought ant the dollar tree and warmed in the microwave. FOOD has NO SEASONING and also gave us an upset stomach. Everything was closed and nothing to do. Flowers and everything outdoors needs some care.

Bryan and Cason's Tap House was an exceptional server. Hee was fast, friendly and very attentive. His suggestions were wonderful, he knows his job and menu well. I cannot say enough good things about Bryan. I look forward to him serving us again on our next trip.

Looking forward to a beautiful place with full golf activity opportunities along with relaxing hours to be spent with my 18 & 14 yr old kids…there was much left to be desired. There was no notification upon booking that the 2 golf courses would be unavailable for play except the back 9 of one of the courses. The golf cart rental was more than our auto rental. Food & service was not impressive. The cottage pools were overrun with loud & non rule abiding people and poorly supervised children. There was no bar service available as advertised at the lodge pool. The grounds were poorly kept especially around the discovery bldg and other areas. The cottage mattresses & pillows left myself and my 14 sore w little comfort to sleep. It was a shame that our experience was not one to recommend Calloway to anyone going forward.
