The Pool Side Bungalow is a large "Studio" unit with a fixed queen bed and an optional Queen Murphy bed. Please see the pictures for more detail. Let us know if you have any questions.
Sleeps 4 super comfy! Cold AC, Kitchenette, Coffee, Fridge, Cooktop and Microwave. Awesome Pool, Patio, BBQ, Palapas and an Event Palapa.

We offer 2 rental SUV's exclusively for our guests at $75usd per day.

We are Located on the Mainland in a nice neighborhood area at the end of a culdesac, 1 mile off the main road and just 3 miles from the airport...but you'll Never hear any planes! We are not on the ocean. The Gecko Pool Bungalow sleeps 4 comfortably with one main queen bed and another queen Murphy bed. Oversized AC to cool you quick on those hot Caribbean days and nights. It has a beautiful bathroom with shower and a nice kitchenette setup with cooktop and refrigerator to hold your snacks and drinks. Nice private patio right out the back door for your sunrise coffee or chilling with a glass of wine in the evening!

Hang out or BBQ under the large Pool Palapa anytime or sit under the shade at the pool bar area, pour yourself a drink or just swim around. If you want, head on over to the large A-frame Palapa and take a snooze in the shade or read that book you've been carrying around. You're free to use any of the amenities on the grounds anytime. The Gecko Pool Bungalow is absolutely your Perfect Location to be the Home-Base for all of your great vacation excursions!

We can comfortably accommodate 4 adult persons here in the Studio Pool Bungalow. If there are additional people in your party, ask us about our additional Bungalows that are equally fun and Caribbean decorated, all with comfy, 12" thick memory foam queen beds!

The whole place is beautiful, with a wonderful pool and lots of flowers and trees surrounding the area. The native birds are singing and welcoming. Our room was great and had everything we needed. Scott picked us up and took us back to fly home. A total great experience.

The poolside bungalow is a whole vibe, right down to the monkies holding the light fixtures, to the swing at the dining table! You have to see it to Belize it!! Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Mini stove, kitchenette, and rainfall shower. Best part... You walk right out on to the geck pool deck!!

The entire place is so well-designed and nicely lighted at night so the area can be enjoyed well after dark. The pool was sparkling clean and just perfect for relaxing with lounge chairs in the water. Our unit was very comfortable - great air conditioner and fan - and the decor is very cute. The owners are so helpful and friendly and very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had a delightful one night stay at The Gecko Bungalow the night before we left Belize. We originally chose the spot due to its close proximity to the airport and free shuttle. Michelle was out of the country but very responsive to our messages and even helped arrange for an early check-in for our group of 8.Scott was an amazing host, very personable, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Lots of good conversation and fun around the tiki bar while the kids enjoyed the beautiful pool. Not to mention the best suggestion for dinner at a local brewery.The grounds and rooms are amazing with so much to explore and fun little touches around every corner. A perfect little slice of paradise.Our only regret is that we didn't choose the Gecko Bungalow for our entire trip. We are already planning our next vacation and looking forward to spending more days/nights at this amazing property!

At only a few minutes from the airport this place is perfect to start or end your trip on the mainland if you plan to visit other areas and want the ease of travel. Once inside the complex, you truly feel as if you are in a resort- the grounds, the pool, the entire space is carefully thought out to inspire vacation vibes. UnBelizeableWe don’t need to repeat the wonderful reviews which all of the previous guests have written – however, they are true! Aside from the spectacular setting, the beautiful rooms and special amenities, its really the hosts that top off this perfect location.In a matter of minutes, we went from being guests to being friends. Michelle responded to any requests immediately and was a wealth of information. (Special shout out to Cave Tubing BZ. and our guide Camillio). Scott, apart from being an architectural genius, is a first-rate comedian. To say the least, we had a blast. Of course, we will be returning. Thank you guys!

Absolutely LOVELY bungalow ... and LOVELY hosts! I can't say enough good things about this property -- it's an oasis! Wonderfully designed, meticulously detailed, truly an escape. Very secure, safe, and private. We only stayed one night -- a very convenient location near the Belize City airport -- but we would have been happy to stay much longer! I am certain that if/when I return to Belize, a stay at this bungalow will be included as part of the vacation! (We stayed 7 days in Hopkins Bay, not in Belize City ... so just needed 1 night at Gecko before flying out.) Thank you, Gecko, Michelle, and John! Can't wait to return ...

Hidden Jewel

This place is a jewel of a find! Michelle and Scott are super friendly and very attentive. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home! I was asked every day if I needed a ride to the grocery or convenient store. The housekeeping was great and pool was nice! Great whimsical rooms are done very stylish and supplied with everything you need. Check out the book they put together for things to do as I rented a vehicle from them and checked out the sites they recommended! I just loved spending time by the pool to chillax. This was a vacation well needed. I will definitely come back again!
