The newly renovated rooms are both modern and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere after a long day. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The hotel's convenient location, just off I-10, made it easy to explore local attractions like the Cajundome and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Additionally, being within walking distance to dining options such as Cracker Barrel was a delightful bonus. For travelers seeking quality accommodations at an affordable price, Smart Stay Inn Lafayette is an excellent choice.

Our first room did not feel clean. Bed sheets looked like they were not changed and counters were dirty as well as the door. Kindly asked the front desk to change rooms and he was able to do so. Our second room was a little better however floors felt dirty. Bed sheets had cigarette hole burns and spiderwebs were formed around the bed frame.

Shower didn’t wasn’t sealed so it was peeling but that was okay but finding hair and a potato chip in one of the beds was disheartening for feeling the place was clean.
