About Beachcomber The beautiful Beachcomber villa was built by an English gentleman. His initial plans for the large villa included completely separate wings for him and his wife, as well as average common areas for family and friends. The villa was inhabited for several years before being sold and converted into a leisure club in Lagos. This expat paradise had a reputation both for its parties and for its clientele, partying until the early hours. Even now, many taxi drivers around Lagos still know Beachcomber Beachcomber. So you will have no problem returning home after a night in the city! The bowling green was added at that time and the pool was expanded before the country club was out of fashion and converted into a private residence. The original plan of the villa meant that it naturally converted into five current apartments. The cottage is at the back and the most private, with a kitchen that clearly shows its history as a country club bar. The Pool and Garden apartments are the two main wings of the villa. The largest apartment with jacuzzi connecting the two in the center of the house and the apartment with balcony upstairs offering a sea view. Regardless of its colorful history, Beachcomber was primarily a family home and you will be immediately relaxed in the quiet, peaceful and secluded setting of the villa's grounds. Whether you are looking for a base in the heart of the Algarve or simply a break in the European climate, Beachcomber welcomes you and looks forward to your next holiday in Portugal.
