Ok hotel but beach is not ideal.

This is not the best location in the area. If you are like us and trying to decide between the Hyatt and the Westin, choose the Westin!! The restaurants have more availability and are all great! The Westin is also located in a much more convenient area to tours and activities and the beach is much better for swimming. The Hyatt beach is very narrow and there is absolutely no assistance in beach set ups. The pools are very crowded and very loud. Construction probably made our trip more frustrating but overall this just doesn’t feel like a Hyatt Regency level hotel.

Although the resort staff and service was great, this will be our last trip to Hawaii. The initial cost of the vacation for 4 along with all of the extra hidden fees (resort fees, parking fees, etc) have made it truly unaffordable.

We had the best experience at this hotel. It had a beautiful property. My favorite was the zen garden with the swans, waterfall and flowers. The Swan Court breakfast every morning was amazing. The staff at the hotel couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Our room and view was breathtaking. I would recommend to everyone. It was expensive but I felt it was worth it.

We love the Hyatt Regency in Maui and really enjoyed our stay. This was our second time staying at this resort. The pools are nice and clean and food and drinks are great. I would recommend purchasing the package with breakfast included if you plan on eating breakfast at the resort because it is quite expensive to purchase separate everyday on the property. If you choose to purchase daily the buffet is $40 a person or an average meal is anywhere from $30-$40. Overall would recommend this resort to anyone considering! :)
