Location was great - best part of the beach strip, in my opinion. Resort and options on site were great too. I wasn’t impressed with the additional resort fee of nearly $35 a day - we already paid a high price per night to stay there. Also, $25 a day to self park - are you kidding me?! What a rip off & way to just make money. I don’t mind paying a bit more, but a one time fee is more appropriate for a paying hotel guest. Finally, a breakfast price of $35 a plate is ridiculous. My wife and I ate dinner at some nice place along the strip and in town for the same price, or less, than the breakfast. Crazy....

The beach front property is very appealing, but they definitely need to upkeep tiles in the pool were broken there were a ton of wholes in the fake rocks surrounding the pool. The showers weren’t working so there was a ton of sand in the pool.

It was just ok. Expected more from a Sheraton. The food was not good and very expensive. Pool was also cold.

Hotel is situated by one of the lovely beaches of Maui. However, there are a couple of problems with the property: 1- Main lounge and main restaurant venue was under renovation and we were not informed before. 2- There are only two restaurants and two bars in the hotel. Bars are closed at 9 and 10pm (!). 3- Most of the sunbeds do not have umbrellas and you should pay $55/day to rent tented ones. 4- Universal check out time is 12:00 noon in hotels worldwide but 11am in this hotel. 5- This was our first experience in a US/Hawaii resort hotel and it was far inferior than the ones in southern Europe, Turkey, Egypt and Mexico.

Like: They have pure cold-water dispensers all around the hotel... only buy (bring) 4-6 plastic water bottles with you... don't buy a case full. Like: Sits on THE BEST BEACH within miles (if not the entire island). Great for swimming and snorkeling. Don't Like: Very loud construction during the weekdays (diamond cement saws, jack hammers...), not pleasant at all, if I knew I would have rescheduled or gone elsewhere. Check BEFORE you go. Don't Like: Getting charged a resort fee when I arrive... come on... just price the whole thing out (to be fair, most resorts do this).

Location is awesome! Access to the beach is like no other place we have been to. Our oceanside room on Black Rock was amazing! We were able to see a lot of dolphins and turtles from the balcony. Breakfast buffet is great way to start the day! We plan on coming back for sure!

This was the WORST TRIP EVER!! We booked this resort for our honeymoon. It was one of the top rated resorts so what could go wrong, right?! EVERYTHING was wrong! First of all, the staff was NOT FRIENDLY! No one was readily available to greet or ask us if we needed anything We had to wait over 20 minutes to check in. When we finally got into our room, the phone was NOT working. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk about the issueand they said that they would call back. We waited for 2 hours and still did not get a call. So, we left the hotel to get some refreshments and upon returning to the hotel we were rudely greeted by a bridezilla who told us that we were NOT allowed to walk through the hallway to get to our room!! There should be no reason why a wedding should hinder our stay in any way. We had to find a different route to our room, which was ridiculous! Using our cell phone, because our room phone still wasn't working, we called the front office to discuss this situation and was told that they were too busy to address our issue and would call back in 30 minutes. At that point, we were done staying at this hotel. We called Travelocity to try to get out of this resort and book a different one. Coincidentally, the manager, Andrew Lee, was finally attentive to our needs of having no working phone, no in-room amenities, no housekeeping, and flat out rude staff members. We got a whopping free cabana for all of our troubles. Woohoo!! NOT.
