Great stay! Paid for ocean front because love to hear the ocean waves at night. on the ninth floor and music from the restaurant on the ground floor was so loud we couldn't enjoy being on the oceanfront. Talked to front desk about and they were indifferent snd said they knew it was a problem. Very disappointing response! Other than that our experience was very good.Don't pay the extra for oceanfront!

The resort is beautiful, and the poolside servers and maids were excellent, providing great service throughout our stay. However, there were several issues that made the experience less relaxing than expected. Our initial room, 349, was listed as an ocean view but was obstructed. The front desk quickly and easily moved us to room 645, which was exactly what we expected, and I appreciated how smoothly that was handled. During check-in, we were not informed about the resort’s free activities or given the voucher card for restaurant discounts, and we only discovered these on the last day. At The Valley Isle Arcade, one of the prizes was mislabeled and not honored, and I overheard staff gossiping about another guest, which felt extremely unprofessional. The concierge desk mentions free gifts and activities, but I found the process confusing and not well explained. I expected to feel completely relaxed and at home, but I often felt anxious instead. While the location is perfect and some staff were wonderful, the disorganization, lack of communication, and overall experience did not feel worth the high cost. If you are seeking a true luxury experience, other resorts, such as the Grand Wailea, may be a better choice. For these reasons, I would not return and would not recommend this resort to friends or family.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. We arrived after paying the full amount in advance, only to be told at check-in that we still had to pay some ridiculous “resort fee” just to use basic hotel facilities. This was never mentioned during booking — clearly a dirty trick to squeeze more money out of guests. The lack of transparency is unacceptable, and the staff acted like this was completely normal. It’s not. It’s dishonest and shows zero respect for customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t want to be scammed with surprise charges the moment you arrive, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Our room for add. Fees overlooked a concrete roof. A party in two areas below us and in the adult areas was completely roped off our last night when we had planned night swimming. Very, very loud til late and 5 am rude awakenings manager offer 200 dis and never credited us… we have 3-600 in overage charges. Called bell man last day for luggage twice and maid radioed x1 never showed we had to bring it all down ourselves. Valet guys were great but found out it’s 55 + $/day and then more taxes on that. Resort fees -paid cash for most and yet charged my card
