Skyview A-Frame Lake Access Game Room

Located in Lake Arrowhead, Skyview A Frame A View of Paradise in the Woods is a mid-century modern A-Frame cabin built in 1964 that combines vintage and modern features. Additionally, it offers LAKE ACCESS (details below).

This Prow Style A-Frame cabin provides all the amenities you and your family would need to feel at home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. We have available coffee and a coffee maker for your enjoyment. Get entertained inside the cabin with a 65” 4K Sony TV in the game room and 4K TVs in two other bedrooms.  An arcade machine filled with a variety of vintage games is located in the basement, along with a pool table, and a Karaoke Machine,  Turntable with Marshall Bluetooth speaker allows you to play vintage curated records or simply stream your favorite music.  The cabin features a HOT TUB, a wrap-around deck with outdoor seating areas and a dining area with a fire pit to allow you to enjoy the cabin from all sides day and night.

***LAKE ACCESS

Skyview A Frame is a member of the Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA). Guests have access to the TRAILS surrounding the lake. This is an additional bonus since the lake is private and is not open to the public. Names must be provided at least 48 hours prior to your check-in date if you plan to access the private areas.

You must purchase wristbands from the ALA office before you can head to the lake. One-day passes are available for $10, three-day passes for $30, and seven-day passes for $70. Children under the age of 18 will receive free wristbands for the same period of time as their accompanying adults.
Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed Saturday and Sunday). A wristband must be worn at all times on the trails. Guests must also carry the ALA Membership/RFID card which allows access to the trails surrounding the lake. In the cabin, you will find this card in the binder located by the entrance table. A $75 processing fee will be charged for each ALA card that is not returned in the binder.

Great Cabin!
The cabin was super cute and the jacuzzi was very relaxing after a day of skiing! My kids loved the pool table and mini arcade game as well. We even did some karaoke before bedtime one night. I highly recommend, especially if you have kids!

Thrift Store Chic
A quirky A frame filled with thrift store furnishings. My family and I enjoyed our visit. Location was in a quiet neighborhood. We really appreciated the record player and vinyl records. The only disappointment was that the house was pretty dirty. Towels and linens were old and not freshly cleaned. No kitchen towels. It was missing a few basic but necessary items.

PARADISE IN ARROWHEAD
I would give it more stars if I could. Everything was truly amazing. I had a zillion questions as I've never used VRBO before and Gal was the sweetest and got back to me quickly. The house was such a cool mid-century modern vibe, clean, and keycode was easy to use..and as a mom of 3 I definitely over-packed, but I didn't need to. There was everything from toiletries, towels, to food seasonings, to matches, even ICE! We all loved the karaoke machine, pool table and hot tub...did I mention the view!? super beautiful. We came down for a last summer family trip to escape the busy-ness of LA and Skyview A-Frame exceeded my expectations!! I would highly recommend this place. Everyone in the town is also so very kind. Truly a remarkable experience. We will be back for a fall/winter trip.

Great Location-Not the cleanest
The location of the place was great. The host was responsive to messages. The check-in and checkout process was easy. We stayed for one night, during a heat wave, so it was very disappointing that the place had no AC, given the top room's temperature was at 99 degrees in the afternoon. Also, there was an extremely high cleaning fee (which VRBO will not let me divulge) which is not justifiable for 3 people for one night. The place wasn't the cleanest of places.... The couch had stains all over, there were dead bugs on the floor, and layers of dust all over. The plus is the washer/dryer, although, there were towels left in the dryer when we tried using it. Overall it was fine. But due to the high cleaning fee to clean the place, which wasn't actually that clean, isn't worth it for one night.
